Although theXbox Game Pass apppreviously listedWarhammer 40,000: Darktideas also being set to depart on September 30, Fatshark’s well-received 2022 FPS will seemingly remain on the service for a while longer, as it is no longer marked as “leaving soon.” None of the games set to leave the XGP catalog later today can easily be beaten in a single day, but dedicated achievement hunters might still be able to rush through one season ofThe Walking Deadand add 1,000 points to their Gamerscore total that way.

Xbox Game Pass Will Remove More Games Than It Adds in September 2024

Following these nine removals, the number of September 2024 Xbox Game Pass departures will increase to 15. This month will hence be a net negative for Microsoft’s service, which has only added 12 titles since September 1. The last time this happened was back in May 2024, when the XGP library lost two more titles than it received.

Moving forward,Xbox Game Pass has so far confirmed but one game for October 2024. The title in question isCall of Duty: Black Ops 6, which is scheduled to reach the service on October 25. Following Microsoft’s recent tier changes, access to all day-one releases likeBlack Ops 6requires a PC Game Pass or Ultimate-tier membership.
