WithWuthering Waves' 1.3 update set to launch later this weekend, Kuro Games has already given fans a taste of what’s to come with the next patch. The 1.3 update will introduce a new area for players to explore, with the Black Shores closely connected to the story of new five-star character Shorekeeper. The update will also add a new Echo for players to challenge, introducing the Fallacy of No Return within the new areas of the in-game map. Now,Wuthering Waves' newest gacha banners have been revealed ahead of the update’s official release.
With less than 24 hours remaining untilWuthering Waves' next update goes live, Kuro Games has officially unveiled the game’s newest gacha banners. The first half of the 1.3 update will addnew five-star unit Shorekeeperto the game, running alongside four-star characters Taoqi, Yangyang, and Chixia. The second half of the update will welcome the return of Jiyan as the game’s first re-run banner, also featuring new four-star unit Youhu on his banner with Sanhua and Mortefi. The update will add three new weapons as well, with five-star Rectifier Stellar Symphony and four-star weapons Endless Collapse and Celestial Spiral.

The plethora of new characters and weapons coming toWuthering Waveshave been teased to bring plenty of new elements to the game. Both characters will play heavily support-oriented roles in players' team compositions, with Shorekeeper speculated to be the game’s new best support unit.New four-star character Youhuis expected to be a versatile character that can play both healer and sub-DPS roles, with several RNG elements in her kit as well. Shorekeeper will debut with the new update’s release on September 29, while Youhu launches on October 24 with Jiyan’s banner.
Alongside its new characters,Wuthering Waveswill bring the next expansion of the game’s main story content. Players will travel into the previously-mentioned Black Shores to meet its mysterious Shorekeeper, with the story reportedly delving into the origin of the region.Wuthering Wavesfans will also be able to take on a new Companion Story, with “Small Wooly, Big Adventures” focusing aroundVersion 1.0 five-star character Encore.Wuthering Waves' 1.3 update looks to be bringing plenty to the table for any fan of the Kuro Games RPG.
