On August 15, version 1.2 “In the Turquoise Moonglow” was released, withWuthering Wavesintroducing Zhezhiand Xiangli Yao as new five-star characters, accompanied by their weapons Rime-Drapped Sprouts (Zhezhi) and Verity’s Handle (Xiangli Yao). The update brought new events such as “Do Echoids Dream of Electric Sheep?,” Gifts of Lunar Radiance, installment 1.2 of Depths of Illusive Realm, Zhezhi’s companion quest and Vigil of Endless Night, and the new Echo Phantom Dreamless.
Now, Kuro Games has announcedWuthering Wavesversion 1.3, which arrives on Sunday, September 29. One of the highlights is the debut of thenew character The Shorekeeper, a five-star Spectro Rectifier who can transform into a butterfly, and Youhu, a four-star Glacio Gauntlet Resonator who can change her moveset and battle effects. The game will add The Shorekeeper’s signature weapon, Stellar Symphony, and the Deep Sky Blazer. A new area will be introduced, with the Black Shores archipelago becoming available for players to explore its stories and mysteries.
Wuthering Waves Version 1.3 Details
With the release of version 1.3,Wuthering Waveswill add the new Echo Fallacy of No Return, a patrol of the borders between the digital world and reality that uses a big hammer as a weapon. The new Phantom echoes Gulpuff and Lumiscale Construct will become available, along with enemies that reside in the Black Shores, and nine events, including Retro Game Collector, Where Stars Slumber (area exploration), and Gifts of Sea Breeze (7-day login). The story of Rover,Wuthering Waves’main character, will continue with the introduction of Chapter 1, Act 8, which will feature a story revolving around the origins of the Black Shores and their leader.
As players prepare to explore the contents of version 1.3 over the next few days, new information already hints at what to expect in the future. Leaks teases thatWuthering Wavesversion 1.4 characterswill be Camellya and Dengdeng, respectively a Havoc sword and a broadblade user. Another leak suggests that Jinshi and Sanhua should get new skins, and that version 1.4 will be the last before update 2.0.
