Much like Tartarus,Persona 3 Reload: Episode Aigiswill have boss fights blocking players' progression that they will run into every few floors. Much like the original game,Episode Aigisis much more challenging than the base game, with the bosses making that even more clear.
Enemy formations will rarely have a single type to knock them all down, and even the most basic enemies now will use buffs and debuffs to get the advantage in battle. The Wrathful Book & Shouting Tiaras is the firstboss fight in the DLC, here’s how to beat them.
Wrathful Book & Shouting Tiaras Weaknesses In Episode Aigis
The Wrathful Book is much stronger than the Shouting Tiaras and hasroughly triple the amount of health. The Wrathful Book’s affinities are:
The Shouting Tiaras are much easier to take down and should be focused on first to limit the number of incoming attacks. Their affinities are:
Best Personas & Party
Before beginning this fight, head backto the Velvet Roomandfuse Lamia. She naturally knows Agilao, which is one of the first tier-two spells available to the party, and will be able to hit the weakness of the stronger enemy with a powerful attack. There are multiple options for Personas that know Ice spells, though Aigis should use Lamia and not switch off as her focus should be hitting the Wrathful Book with Agilaos the entire fight except for one Fusion Spell.
Also, fuse a Principality and Power as these two will give Aigis access to the next Fusion Spell, Justice, which deals Medium Pierce damage to all enemies with a high chance of landing a critical. Boost this Fusion Spell with a Tarukaja from Metis, and it will almost take down the Shouting Tiaras on its own.
The best party for this fightincludes Metis, Yukari, and your choice for the final slot.Akihiko is not recommended for this fightunless you want to prioritize him to keep his level high for later usage, and he can be carried through this fight as the final slot will mostly just be added firepower.
How To Beat The Wrathful Book & Shouting Tiaras
Before beginning this fight, getAigis’s Therugy bar fullto use Justice early on. This Fusion Spell will deal great damage and probably knock down at least one enemy, allowing for aShift chain to get an All Out Attack as Metis can hit the Shouting Tiaras' weakness and Aigis can get the Wrathful Book. The Wrathful Book does have a habit of using Tetrakarn to block the next Physical attack on an enemy. Stick to magic only in this fight and that spell won’t be an issue.
The Shouting Tiaras will also use Provoke to inflict party members with Rage. HaveYukari focus on curing Rage over healingas Tetrakarn can greatly punish a bad attack and having some party members hitting a weakness can let you shift back to Yukari for a later Media. Overall this boss won’t deal a ton of damage with its own attacks, and as long as you stay aggressive in hitting weaknesses and avoid Rage staying for more than a turn, this boss won’t be much of an issue.
