InWoW: The War Within, there are currently four major Factions with a Renown track that you can progress through: theCouncil of Dornogal, theAssembly of the Deeps, theHallowfall Arathi, and the Severed Threads. The Severed Threads are the Faction chiefly tied to activities within Azj-Kahet, the Nerubian zone inThe War Within.
By getting Renown with the Severed Threads you will unlock rewards including Mounts, a Title, free currency, high-level gear, and rare crafting materials. Ways To Increase Severed Threads Renown
Each Faction has 25 Renown Levels to advance through, and ittakes 2500 Reputation to progressthrough each Rank. To earn Renown with the Severed Threads inThe War Within, there are four things you may do;
Of these four methods, the fastest way to increase your Rank with the Severed Threads Renown is tocomplete the Main Story questlineand complete each Local Story for the Sojourner achievement.
At regular intervals in the Main Story quest you will get chunks of Reputation, and a full Renown Level’s worth once you complete the zone story. Once you complete a Local Story chain, most of them will reward an item that grants 500 Reputation with the Severed Threads, too.
Kill Rare Elites and complete World Quests as you come across them, but focus on completing the zone’s Sojourner achievement for the fastest initial gains. When you reach Renown 3, be sure to choose a Pact and complete those associated Quests, because for every Rank you earn in your Pact, you will also earn a full Renown level for the Severed Threads.
