There are many things you can collect inWorld of Warcraft. Whether it is transmog, toys, pets, or mounts, spending your time obtaining things is a valid way of playing the game. Expansions are an especially exciting time since that means that there will be all sorts of new cosmetics to track down.
At the launch ofThe War Within, 37 new mounts were added to the game. Some are fairly easy to acquire while others are more time-consuming dueto difficulty or rarity. In the case of Beledar’s Spawn, this mount is a mix of both. Here is how you may get Beledar’s Spawn along with a few tips to consider when trying to get this mount.
How to Get Beledar’s Spawn
Beledar’s Spawn is a rare drop from a rare enemy that is also known as Beledar’s Spawn. This unique enemy spawns only in Hallowfall, but the twist is that it only spawns during the unique “night mode” that occurs in Hallowfall known as Beledar’s Shadow. The giant crystal (Beledar) turning purple indicates the beginning of Beledar’s Shadow. This occurs every three hours, and Beledar’s Spawn will appear the moment Beledar’s Shadow begins.
The tricky part about Beledar’s Spawn is that it doesn’t spawn in a fixed area. There are 20 different spotsacross Hallowfallwhere this rare can spawn during Beledar’s Shadow. As a result, it can be tricky to reach the rare in time before it gets killed. Even if you get lucky and find it on your own, it is not recommended that you fight Beledar’s Spawn solo.
At Rank 23,the Hallowfall Arathi Quartermastersells an item that can make your life easier when trying to get Beledar’s Spawn. The item is called Beledar’s Attunement, and upon use the location of the rare will immediately appear on your map when Beledar’s Shadow starts. At that point you can head to that location and either work with other players in the area to take down Beledar’s Spawn or form a group.
It takes a long time to reach Rank 23, however. If you don’t want to wait that long, there is another method. Use the group frinder and either join a Beledar’s Spawn group or make your own. Have at least 20 players in the group so that you have all spawn points covered. Once Beledar’s Spawn is up, the player who first sees the rare should pin it on the map and call it out in raid chat. Ideally, you should wait for the entire group to arrive before pulling Beledar’s Spawn.
In order to be eligible for the mount, you just have to hit the boss once. If you still have party members on their way, don’t start nuking the boss.
The mount has a low drop rate, so it may take several attempts to get it. It is important to note that you only have one chance at the mount per day, and if you keep farming it after the first kill you won’t get anything until daily reset. Other than the mount, Beledar’s Spawn also has a chance of dropping a ring called Signet of Dark Horizons. You alsodon’t need to be Level 80to be eligible for the mount.
