World of Warcraftis adding a Max button to the Transfer Currency window inThe War WithinPatch 11.0.5. While seemingly a small addition, this simple quality-of-life feature will save a lot of time for characters who need to move tons of currencies across theirWorld of Warcraftcharacters.
Warbands are a new feature officially added during thePre-Expansion update forWorld of Warcraft: The War Within. Marketed as “account-wide everything,” Warbands is a blanket of quality-of-life improvements that allow players to share reputations, achievement progress, and even certain types of currencies collected from various parts ofWorld of Warcraft.
However, a simple addition to this system is going to make the process of moving currencies across characters much easier. As discovered byWoWcontent creator MrGM on the Public Test Realm,World of Warcraftis adding a Max button to the Transfer Currency interface. Using it, fans can quickly siphon all of their currencies onto a single character, making the process of consolidation even more convenient than before.
Max Currency Transfer Button in WoW Patch 11.0.5
Previously, transferring currencies across characters required them to input numbers into the box, or otherwise type a large number into it so the autocorrect function sets it to the maximum amount. With the Max button, players will no longer need to type numbers in if they want to transfer the full amount, and can instead complete a transfer with only a few button presses. While it didn’t take long to transfer currencies acrosscharacters in aWorld of WarcraftWarbandbefore, the Max button will help make this process even faster.
Needless to say, fans are excited to see this simple-yet-useful addition toWorld of Warcraft. Many players have been hoping Blizzard would add this exact feature to the Transfer Currency system, and are overjoyed to see it arriving. That said, they hope this is only the first of many innovations, and would love to see even more convenience added to it, such as the ability totransfer all of a selectWorld of Warcraftcurrencyfrom across the Warband to a single character all at once.
WhileWorld of Warcrafthasn’t officially given fans a release date for Patch 11.0.5, theWoWPTR may have already revealed it. TheWorld of Warcraft20th anniversary eventis scheduled for October 22 on the test realm’s in-game calendar. As one of the major features of the update, it is safe to say Patch 11.0.5 will probably arrive the same day, though it could technically drop a week or two earlier or later.
