Summary
The Shishitoren are the first proper gangs introduced in theWind Breakerseries, led bynone other than the eccentric leaderChoji Tomiyama and his second in command - Jo Togame. Known as one of the most feared and elite gangs in the series, the Shishitoren are known for their ruthless tactics and dominance in the world of street fighting.
Unlike the Bofurin, the Shishitoren are unforgiving if they realize one of their members is weak, taking away the member’s Shishitoren jacket to signify that they no longer are a part of the gang, a brutal way to kick out a member.

The Shishitoren are recognized as one of the most fearsome gangs in the series and have a long history of controlling territories through violence. The Bofurin and Shishitoren have an agreement in terms of sharing territories, breaking the this agreement would result in all out fight.
The Shishitoren are also known tohave extremely powerful leadersand other upper-rank members who have exceptional fighting skills, many who are recruited and trained to fight for their lives. The gang also has various types of members who are ranked based on their fighting skill level and can prove themselves by rising through the ranks. The Shishitoren can be recognized by their yellow and white jackets with their logo stitched on the back of their jacket and two lions on either side on the front.

While Sakura’s group is out on patrol they encounter a young Sasaki being chased by three Shishitoren gang members at the Bofurin and Shishitoren border, seeing the young lad in trouble, the Bofurin attacks the Shishitoren gang members but ends up crossing the border. The Shishitoren’s second in command - Jo Togame also appears, challenging Sakura but the fight dissipates and the leader of the Shishitoren - Tomiyama is later informed of the ordeal.An organized one-on-one matchhappens between both the Bofurin and Shishitoren members, with the Bofurin coming out victorious.

The Shishitoren is full of powerful fighters all ready to fight
Starting with the leader of the pack - Choji Tomiyama. Tomiyama is known for his energetic and brutal fight style, although he is not the biggest member of the gang, he packs a powerful punch and was made leader because of all the fights he won. His leadership style was also considered brutal, as he easily expelled members if he felt they were too weak and only wanted strong members on his side. Jo Togame is his second in command and right-hand man. Togame is seen to be the laid back and calm character in the series,but is also as powerful as Tomiyama, this is seen during his fight with Sakura, as he is able to keep up with the speed and power of his opponent.
The known lower ranking members of the Shishitoren are Yukinari Arima, who is an arrogant young member who enjoys bullying others and has no self-respect. He also cares very little of his team members. Kota Sako is also a lower ranking member with an angry face but also a good fighter.
Minoru Kanuma is the other lower ranking member, while he pretends to be strong, he is actually weak and is unable to fight as well as his peers.While the Shishitoren make thier markin the series, they are quickly humbled by the Bofurin during the one on one fights and each member has a self-realization moment of who they are. Tomiyama calms down a lot more after Bofurin’s leader defeats him - Hajime Umemiya and Togame also becomes friends with Sakura as the members are later seen enjoying a meal together.
