InStarfield’s most recent major update, the Trackers Alliance was officially added to the list of factions the player can join. Through this unit of bounty hunters and, well, trackers, the player will gain access to the faction’s first mission: “Bounty: The Starjacker”.This mysterious quest introduces the player to the workings of this new group, acting as a ‘trial run’ for your character. This guide will walk players through the entire mission, includingwhere to find Adrastos.
“The Starjacker"serves as the first mission in a series of new quests for the Trackers Alliance. While most of the quest is fairly straightforward, figuring outwhere to find Adrastoscan prove to be a bit tricky. Once players complete “The Starjacker,” they will gain access to everything the Tracker’s Alliance has to offer, including several new pieces of rare equipment.
How to Start The Starjacker in Starfield
Meet the Mysterious Tracker
To begin “The Starjacker,” players will have to be invited to the Trackers Alliance HQ in Akila City. To do this, you will first have to interact with the Mysterious Tracker. While it is not clear how many locations the tracker can be found in, we encountered her in both Cydonia and New Atlantis, near Ship Services in both cases. Here, we actually engaged with her just outside the main entrance toCydonia, onMarsin theSol System.
After speaking with her, make your way to theTrackers Alliance HQinAkila City, onAkilain theCheyenne System. Speak with Agent No. 1 and accept the invitation to try out for the alliance. This will lead toAgent No. 1introducing you toRoach, your temporary partner, and theBounty Board, where “Bounty: The Starjacker"will be accepted. Your target will be revealed to beHannibal Eutropio.
Where is Adrastos in The Starjacker?
How to Find Adrastos in The Starjacker:
After receiving “Bounty: The Starjacker” from the Bounty Board, you will speak to both Agent No. 1 and Roach again. They will reveal that your first goal will be to track down Adrastos Dakota, an associate of Hannibal Eutropio. He is in Akila City, and you must find him using your scanner. At first, we found ourselves running all over town looking for Adrastos, but it eventually became clear that he was found along a single small corridor. To find Adrastos, head to The Rook, which is the bar at the end of the main town square. Players will remember that they visited this bar after dealing with bankrobbers during their first visit to Akila City. If the player is standing facing The Rook,Adrastos will be found walking along the path to the right of the bar.
If you press LB and leave your scanner on as you search, it will be much easier to spot Adrastos. Because the scanner is looking for anyone with a bounty, the target will be highlighted in bright red. Look for abright red targetnear The Rook, andyou will find Adrastos.
How to Complete the Starjacker in Starfield
Follow the Quest Markers:
The rest of the mission is easy to follow, as almost every task is tagged with a quest marker. Speaking with Adrastos will lead you to a derelict starstation in theAndromas System, which is just northwest of the Cheyenne System. When you enter the Andromas System on the map, you will find the starstation in the bottom left corner, orbiting the ringed red planet. Jump to the location and dock with the station.
The first thing you’ll notice in the station is that there isno gravity. Prepare to meet significant resistance while floating around. Your first goal is to float through the main corridors, following the quest markers into the final hanger bay. You’ll eventually reach aSunsailship, and after you defeat the spacers surrounding it, you will be prompted to find more information on it.
Find More Information on Accessing the Sunsail Ship:
To get more information on the ship, you’ll need to enter the Command Tower, which can be accessed in two different ways:
To enter from below, you will simply need to float up from the lower levels. Once you are in the tower, use the computer marked with a quest marker. Look in theInventory Logsto find the Sunsail folder. This will give you the information you need: The Sunsail’s key is found in a locker in the crew’s quarters.
Access the Crew Quarters:
Before leaving the computer, go to theStation Lockdown Overridefolder. Override the lockdown status, and you’ll be able to enter the Crew Quarters section. After closing the computer, grab the Command Tower Key floating above it so you may simply leave through the door. As you exit the Command Tower, look for the quest marker, as it marks the location of the Crew Quarters' door.
Make your way through the door, and down the hallway into the Crew Quarters. Here, you’ll once again meet resistance. Deal with them, then float to the lower level to collect the Sunsail key from a locker, which is also tagged with a quest marker. With the key in hand, return to the Sunsail.
Fire the Missile Pod:
To enter the Sunsail, you’ll want to head to the rear of the vessel and enter through the hatch, just as you’d enter any ship. Follow the quest marker to the computer on board the ship. Open theDebug Menuprogram and select the option to test the Missile Pod. This will blast an opening in the chamber above the Sunsail.
Find “Hannibal”:
After firing the Missile Pod, head up through the chamber that is directly above the Sunsail. You will see a blasted out wall with smoke billowing out. Head through the smoke and down into the chamber below. There will be a few spacers to defeat, but not too many. Head into theDocking Bay 03corridor to find “Hannibal.” Only, this turns out not to be Hannibal. It turns out to be Deke, who is a decoy. In reality, the person we thought was Adrastos, who is now on our ship, was actually Hannibal Eutropio all along.
Hannibal worked his way free on our ship, and steals it. He radios to let us know that he left us a junker ship, along with some goodies. Head to the end of Docking Bay 03 to find a yellow chest just before the dock door. Collect the items, then use the junker to return to Agent No. 1 in Akila City. Both Roach and Agent No. 1 will suggest that it is not worth going after Hannibal again for the time being. This will end “The Starjacker.”
Be careful when using the junker ship that Hannibal left to return to Akila City. If you have any contraband in your ship’s cargo, it will now show up in the cargo hold of the junk ship, which does not have any Shielded Cargo space. You will be discovered by a scan upon entering Akila airspace. Take it to The Den -Starfield’s best location for selling contraband with no scan– in-the Wolf system.
