While the Chitin Staff’s 5% critical hit chance isn’t too impressive either, when combined with the Cat Eye Bead and Wrathful Escalation, players can achieve around a 10% critical hit chance. This becomes particularly useful during certain early boss encounters inBlack Myth: Wukong.
Players can craft the Chitin Staff after defeating the Second Sister in the Village of Lanxi, which is the first location in Chapter Four. Crafting this weapon requires one Bishui Beast Bit, a unique material. It’s recommended to craft this staff, as it can later be upgraded to better variants with higher critical hit chances, such as the Visionary Centipede Staff or the Spider Celestial Staff.
7Kang-Jin Staff

TheKang-Jin Staffis one of the best staves available in Chapter Three ofBlack Myth: Wukong, not so much for its 6% critical hit chance, but because of its powerful combat perk. When used correctly, this perk can be one of the strongest in the game. Players shouldlevel up the Punishing Downpour ability(a high-damage finisher for light attack combos) to maximize the effectiveness of this staff. Additionally, the Kang-Jin Staff is one of the most visually stunning weapons players can acquire in the game.
Unsurprisingly, the Kang-Jin Staff can be crafted after defeating the Kang-Jin Star boss upon reaching Turtle Island on the Bitter Lake, midway through Chapter Three. This is before meeting Zhu Bajie for the first time. Crafting the weapon requires one Starlit Cloud-Bidden Antler material.
6Jingubang
TheJingubang Staffis a mythical staff and one of the best weapons inBlack Myth: Wukong, essential for progressing through the game and ultimatelyfacing the final boss, the Great Sage’s Broken Shell. Unlike other weapons, players won’t need to craft Jingubang; it isacquired naturally as part of the storylineduring Chapter Six, after collecting all pieces of the Monkey King Set.
5Tri-Point Double-Edged Spear

Additionally, it’s one of the rare spear weapons in the game (alongside the Chu-Bai Spear) that features a unique moveset, which alone makes it a worthy choice for a New Game Plus run.
Obtaining the Tri-Point Double-Edged Spear, however,requires significant effort. Players must not only complete all chapters of the game but also find every secret area and defeat every hidden boss. After these feats, they gain access to the secret Mount Mei area via the Great Pagoda in Chapter Three, where they will face Erlang, the Sacred Divinity. Erlang serves as thegame’s true and hardest boss, and defeating him rewards players with the Tri-Point Double-Edged Spear.
4Rat Sage Staff

The main advantage of the Rat Sage Staff is how early it can be obtained inBlack Myth: Wukong. Players can craft it as soon as they defeat the final boss of Chapter Two, the Yellow Wind Sage. Crafting this staff requires one Samadhi Wind Agate, a unique material dropped by the boss.
3Bishui Beast Staff

TheBishui Beast Staffis a powerful and visually stunning weapon, ideal for critical damage builds due to its high attack power and impressive critical hit chance. However, despite its stats, the Bishui Beast Staff can be a bit underwhelming because it lacks a unique effect that would set it apart from other weapons inBlack Myth: Wukong.
Another drawback is that this staff becomes available near the end of Chapter Five, meaning it is quickly overshadowed by the superior Jingubang, making it less appealing to craft at that stage. To obtain the Bishui Beast Staff, players must access the Bishui Cave secret area bycompleting the Five Element Carts questline. After defeating the Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast in the cave, players can craft this staff as an upgrade to the Rat Sage Staff by using one Bishui Beast Bit.
2Visionary Centipede Staff
TheVisionary Centipede Staffis an upgraded version of the Chitin Staff and one of two nearly identical staves inBlack Myth: Wukong, sharing almost similar combat perks, attack values, and critical hit chance. Players can craft this staff as an upgrade to the Chitin Staff after defeating the Violet Spider boss at the end of the Webbed Hollow area in Chapter Four. One Spider Leg unique material is required to craft the weapon.
