For a series that emphasizesunparalleled power and strength, theTower of Godseries rightly boasts a rather powerful cast, from the King of the Tower, Zahard, the red-eyed Urek Mazino, to the irregular of irregulars, the Twenty-fifth Baam.
Due to theseries’ power systembeing well structured and organized, there are as many weak/fodder-level characters as there are overpowered characters, making for a relatively balanced variety of characters. However, among this variety are the regulars of the Tower, who are the main focus of this piece. Therefore, below are some of the series’ considerably weaker Regulars of the Tower.
10Yung Changsoo
Rank: F-Rank Regular
Positioned as a Fisherman, Yung Changsoo is outrightly the series’ weakest regular for a few reasons. Cunning and arrogant, Yung Changsoo’s boastful nature does not match up to his level of skill as he only passed Lero-Ro’s test by being helped out by his teammates and then went on to quickly lose to Khun Aguero Agnis during the crown game.
Changsoo was finally eliminated during the Position test after losing to Anak during a training test. After his elimination, Yung Changsoo did not appear again.
9Ucha
Another contender forthe weakest regularin the series, Ucha does nothing of note other than being assigned the Fisherman position. Looking as ordinary as any human, Ucha also shows no particular personality to himself.
He manages to pass Lero-Ro’s test in Part I. However, when he gets eliminated, he fails the floor during the Crown Game. Also, like he shows no personality, Ucha shows no ability or skill in his brief time on-screen. Following his elimination, Ucha makes no further appearances in the series.
8Chungchung
Probablythe smallest character, Chunghchung is one of the regulars who do not make it past the Second Floor. Extremely fast while being really small, Chungchung looks something to a crossbreed of a squirrel and a human.
Although she gets the Light Bearer position, she barely manages to pass Lero-Ro’s test, fails to win the round in the Crown Game, and ultimately fails the Position Test, ensuring that she can’t go past the Second Floor. After failing, Chungchung also makes no further appearance in the series.
7Grey
One of the three people stored in Khun’s bag for the Deathmatch Test, Grey is a pale-looking and small human girl and a regular who participated in the tests on the Second Floor. Regarding power and abilities, Grey could stun people by chanting a spell before them.
However, this ability only worked once on Le-Ara during the Crown Game. She is assigned the Wave Controller position during the Position Test, and although she and her team managed to pass the Hide-and-Seek Test, Grey fails the Position Test and is eliminated.
6Yeongsuk
Also an F-Rank regular, Yeonngsuk’s most notable contribution to the series is trying to kidnap Miseng during the Untrustworthy Room, a plan that failed rather miserably. Yeongsuk appears as a large and rotund woman with a creepy smile. She appears only briefly in Part II through the tests, as she survives the Survival Round Test. S
he also narrowly escapes the Shinsu Strengthening Test and ultimately fails the 20th Floor. While her position is unknown, Yeongsukcan control shinsuthrough her wand, which likely infers that she is a Wave Controller.
5Serena Rinnen
Formerly a thief until Headon chose her as a Regular, Serena Rinnen is a rather ordinary-looking woman. She seemed highly ambitious at first until the tests on the second floor. Even for an F-rank regular, Serena shows no particular ability or skill throughout her appearances.
She only manages to pass Lero-Ro’s test through the sheer force of her will and forfeits during her round with Laurie when Anak shows fighting intention. She also barely scrapes past the Hide-and-Seek Test but failed the position test, meaning she failed the Floor.
4Shopin
Shopin is a regular who participated in the tests on the Second Floor. His appearance throughout the series is rather brief, as he ultimately fails the Second Floor. However, before that, Shopin appears extremely religious, that is, until his mood suddenly shifts in battle, and he goes into a frenzy while laughing sinisterly.
Forming a team with Kon and Dede Kancho, Shopin barely passes Lero-Ro’s Test, but he fails the Crown Game test and ultimately fails the Position Test. After failing the Second Floor, nothing more is seen from his character.
3Kim Lurker
The first antagonistfor Part II, Kim Lurker, is a shylock and also a regular on the 20th Floor, wanting to also take the Floor’s test. It is uncertain if he is a human; however, Km Lurker is the brains behind Rapdevil betraying and almost killing Prince.
Kim Lurker displays a personality that fits well with his job: He is arrogant, cold-blooded, and violent. While Kim Lurker appears to be strong for an F-Rank regular, his powers don’t amount to much, and he ultimately fails the test of the 20th floor.
2Rapdevil
Falsely nicknamed the ‘Devil of the Right Arm’ due tohis ability to transformhis right arm into a gauntlet-like arm of blue and black stripes of power, Rapdevil initially seems like an immensely powerful regular.
However, his power pales compared to other regulars like Kang Horyang, even though he suppresses his power around Prince. His nickname is discovered to be fake, as he is only using the reputation of the real Devil of the Right Arm, Beniamino Cassano. Rapdevil ultimately fails the Untrustworthy Room test of the 20th floor.
1First Emperor
Most notable for his very obvious number of eyes and his First Supreme King’s Scorching Fist of Death, the First Emperor is also another regular who takes part in the tests of the Second Floor. Quite the arrogant figure, First Emperor does fairly well in Lero-Ro’s Test as he teamed up with Leo Cloaker and Deod.
While he loses his round during the Crown Game, he is still assigned the scout position. He also loses out duringthe Hide-and-Seek testbefore finally failing the position test, which sealed his elimination on the Second Floor.
