What Do Chalices Do in Visions of Mana?
InVisions of Mana, there are a total of twenty Chalices that can be found. There are five different types of Chalice, consisting of one type of Chalice for each of thefive playable characters. The first three of the four Chalices for each character are hidden inside Treasure Chests at different locations throughout the world map, while the final Chalice for each character can be obtained in the postgame from one specific location.
Chalices are very useful items inVisions of Mana, as they increase the maximum amount of Ability Seeds each character can have equipped at a single time. As Ability Seeds are used to grant characters new attacks, buffs, or de-buff abilities that can be used in combat, Chalices are worth taking the time to seek out, as they willmake your party even more powerfuland provide them with some extra utility. Chalice of Hope #1 - Dura Gorge
Chalice of Hope #2 - Floating Isle of Ulul
Chalice Location: Not far from the lake, inside the Treasure Chest sitting underneath a large tree, surrounded with rocks.
Chalice of Hope #3 - Dorpher Volcano
Chalice Location: At the very end of the right-most path, split from the previous trail. By following the road to the end, you will come across the Chest that holds this Chalice.
Chalice of Loyalty #1 - Tatoh Temple
Chalice Location: In a chest sitting on the ground in the under layer of the temple. This chest can be reached by taking the stairs down.
Chalice of Loyalty #2 - Wind Sanctum
Chalice Location: On one of the floating mini-islands of Wind Sanctum. This area can be reached with theVessel of Wind, but there are many islands throughout Wind Sanctum, so be sure to use your minimap to find the exact location.
Chalice of Loyalty #3 - Temple of Wendell
Chalice Location: On the southern side of the third temple floor. This Chest can be reached by following the narrow path until you reach the marked point.
Chalice of Tomorrow #1 - Mylos Woods
Chalice Location: From the chest that can be easily spotted near one of the entrances/exits to Mylos Woods.
Chalice of Tomorrow #2 - Passagean Tomespire
Chalice Location: One the top floor of Passagean Tomespire, near the location in which your face the boss.
Chalice of Tomorrow #3 - Castle Crescno
Chalice Location: Inside the Treasure Chest that is sitting on some gears.
Chalice of Heridom #1 - Gamurda Mines
Chalice Location: Use the Golem to smash the rock wall marked in the location above, which will reveal a hidden Chest with the Chalice inside.
Chalice of Heirdom #2 - Log’grattzo Archives
Chalice Location: Near the entrance path to Ahrvet’s Pasture, on the upper level that can be reached with the Vessel of Wind.
Chalice of Heirdom #3 - Luka Ruins Undertemple
Chalice Location: sitting under the big bridge, on the lower right side. Can be reached by adjusting the water levels.
Chalice of Change #1 - Mylos Woods
Chalice Location: Inside the Chest that can be found on the edge of the large island in the middle of the swamp.
Chalice of Change #2 - Sanctuary of Mana
Chalice Location: Inside a Treasure Chest that can be found sitting on top of a small circular silver pedestal/structure.
Chalice of Change #3 - Floating Isle of Ulul
Chalice Location: Use the Vessel of Wood to reach the high cliff, then continue climbing the cliff to find the Chest that holds this Chalice.
All Fourth Chalice Locations - Niccolo’s Shop (Illystana)
Chalice Location: Every character’s last Chalice can be obtained in the postgame, by traveling to Niccolo’s Shop in Illystana. Each Chalice will cost 2000 Niccolo Coins.
