Summary
InVisions of Mana, players are able to gradually unlock five different playable characters as they progress through the story. Each of these five playable characters has a series of different Classes to choose from, depending on what Elemental Vessels players have on hand to pair with each individual.
With so many different Class andElemental Vessel combinationsto consider, finding the best matches can be a little confusing. When taking into consideration the best Class for EachVisions of Manacharacter, players will want to consider things such as their base strengths, preferred fighting style and combination of characters, and the potential of Elemental Plots to ensure each team member operates with maximum efficiency.
The Duelist (Water) Class is by far the strongest all-around combination for Val. He is capable of delivering very strong attacks due to massive damage and even has the ability to freeze enemies, which is one of the stronger status conditions in the game. Duelist Val is a great choice if players are looking for a strong melee front-liner, as he specializes in dishing out physical attacks.
Alternatively,Aegis Valmay also be a solid option if players want to pivot into a tank role, as this is the strongest defensive Class in the game. With his massive defense, Val is able to absorb hits and set up opportunities for his teammates through the potential to taunt and provoke enemies.
Dragon Master Careena (Water) operates as quite a strong utility character, with a number of buffs and de-buffs that can be applied to herself, allies, and enemies in combat. She will also deal increased damage on Ramcoh, and while this isn’t a huge deal overall, it is a fun little boost to the attacks that reflect their friendship and bond.
On par with Dragon Master, Divine Fist is also one of the other best choices that can be paired withCareena, and may even be the better choice, depending on the rest of the team lineup. Divine Fist (Fire) has significant attack buffs for both herself and allies, as well as the potential to deal huge damage through her Class Strike.
Morley’s best Class is by far Nightblade (Moon). When utilizing this Class, Morley will wield three daggers, which can equal some massive damage when players attack consistently, due to having a staggering critical hit rate and increased crit damage. To achieve this, making effective use of the time-freezing ability provided by theLumina Lantern Elemental Vesselcan stop groups of enemies, or single powerful targets, such as bosses, right in their tracks for a moment.
However, the most powerful part of Morley’s Nightblade kit is without a doubt the charged attack that can be unlocked from his Elemental Plot progression. These attacks lock on to target enemies, where Morley will deliver multiple slashes in a row, equalling massive damage. This works particularly well on frozen characters and can be spammed to farm damage in every single encounter. It is also used cleverly to maneuver around certain obstacles, such as the gravity pulls in the Zehnoa boss fight.
One of Palamena’s standout Class options is the form of Magus (Wood). Palamena has huge potential for magical attacks, and Magus emphasizes these strengths, giving her strong utility and solid uptime as a ranged support role. Furthermore, Palamena receives additional perks when an ally falls unconscious, or she reaches under half of her maximum HP.
Alternatively, Grand Diviner (Water) is also a very solid option for Palamena, as players will acquire the Elemental Vessel within the same story ark in which she is obtained. Due to the short casting with this Class, Palamena can take on a spell-spammer role and has a significant damage increase with summons and magic.
Julei is the character who has the strongest support potential out of everyone, and the High Cleric Class (Light) only emphasizes his utility in battle further. With this Class choice, Julei can take on the primary healing/buff provider role for the party, as well as dealing decent Light damage here and there.
Once per battle, Julie has the ability to revive himself, and an additional opportunity to revive all party members. Furthermore, High Cleric enables Julei to clear status effects on those he has revived, which can be absolutely clutch and enable a player’s entire team to pivot in close fights to secure victory.
