All Playable Characters in Visions of Mana
InVisions of Mana, there are five different playable characters that you will befriend and unlock along the way during your journey to the Mana Tree. You willbegin your playthroughas Val, the main protagonist, and unlock the following characters in order:
While Val is the main protagonist, you do not even have to use him at all, if you wish - other than being forced to control him during certain town visits. you’re able to run a combination of any three of the five characters at a time, controlling one of the three and having the others support you as teammates. You can also switch which character you are actively controllinginside and outside of combatwhile changing your party composition is locked in battle.

How to Switch Characters in Visions of Mana
You can change your team composition in Visionsof Manaby entering the menu(ESC key), and simply pressing theUPorDOWNarrow keys to toggle the team lineup editor. Here, you will now be able to rearrange which character you are playing, and the two teammates you wish to join you in combat.
In combat, switching characters is as easy as pressing the UP andDOWNkeys, again. Keep an eye on the bottom left-hand corner of the screen to see which way the characters will rotate when you swap.
With clever timing of character swapping, you can dish out some hefty combos and follow-up attacks, or even switch in todeal critical damage with a Class Strike.
