There are actually two methods to start the Lovers quest inEnotria: The Last Song. You can either find Medea’s letter first or speak with Adso (Mantellone) in the second chapter. Don’t worry, as progressing in the second chapter doesn’t remove any characters from the first chapter, Quinta.

The Maskless One will need to deliver the sad news to Adso and watch as the NPC suffers from the loss of his lover. Also, the quest can be considered complete once you speak with Mantellone andreceive the weapon inEnotria: The Last Song, but you can still speak with Maja to mark the Lover’s entry as Tale Complete.

Where To Find Adso In Enotria: The Last Song

Mantellone Adso is located in the second chapter, Falesia Magna, specifically near the Necropolis Reality Knot. Once the Maskless One unlocks the Turf of the Coastal Horror Knot, head right to find the Necropolis area. From there, climb the stairs and head right to jump down the hill.

Proceed ahead and climb the wooden platform past the skeleton enemies until a broken column appears. Climb it to a higher hill full of enemies and go around the area to climb another broken column. Adso should be found on the top. If it’s thefirst time talking with the character inEnotria: The Last Song, you will trigger the Lovers quest and must find Medea’s corpse and report back to him to complete the quest.

Should You Agree Or Disagree With Adso In Enotria: The Last Song?

Talk with Mantellone to find out he’s waiting for his lover, and he asks you to look for her. Handing over Medea’s letter and telling him the truth leads Adso to ask players a question.Whether you agree or disagree, it won’t affect the flow of the game, and you will still obtain the legendaryEmerald Maiden weapon that inflicts Malanno/Sick. The options simply affect Adso’s feelings towards the Maskless One.

Once players answer, an entry appears in the books to speak with Maja. If you already unlocked her, and she’s in the Theater of the Masks, speak with her to get one last entry and complete the Lovers quest.
