Greatswords on their own are a solid choice for dominating close-range combat. They have tools that allow them to quickly close the gap on an opponent and stay in their effective range. They can also prevent players from getting away, such as stunning and slowing them down. It has passives that will raise the chances for heavy strikes and getting in extra hits. Following the general mentality of these facts is how players will utilize it in PvP, but there is another important element that players should keep in mind.
Players will want to invest points inDexterity and Perceptionrather than in Strength, which might sound odd to some, but it makes perfect sense once one understandsall the Stats associated with the game. Pairing these will raise both the minimum and maximum amount of damage, extend buff durations, and raise their critical hit — with Dexterity’s Achievement Effect giving a sizable chunk to it.
2Longbow
DPS & Self Support
The Longbow is a great DPS weapon on its own, but it also provides plenty of versatility. It allows players to fight at a ranged distance, which can give them an edge over melee-centric opponents. This does not mean a player will stay unscathed, as they will constantly have the gap closed on them, but this extra damage can be a deciding factor in an exchange.
The longbow also has plenty of utilities, such as providing players with the ability to heal themselves.Pairing this weaponwith the Daggers will bring its damage and adaptability to optimal heights.
