Tsurumi Island is loaded with important lore about Inazuma’s past. It is home to one of the saddest World Quests in the game, and the whole area has a very melancholic feel to it. The remnants of the Thunderbird Civilization still remain intact for the players to explore.
Tsurumi Island also has a lot of enemies and in-game content to complete. While the amount of Remarkable Chests on this island may frustrate players, it is undeniable that Tsurumi Island is one of the best-designed areas in the game from a visual standpoint.
8Toyac Springs
Time To Ride Spiritways
Toyac Springs is the latest regionintroduced toGenshin Impactwith the release of Natlan. It is home to the People of the Springs tribe and consists of very immersive exploration mechanics.
The spiritway challenges are the hallmarks of this area, which can be completed by using Mualani or a Koholasaurus. It is also a gorgeous area filled with inviting hot springs and a vibrant hub where the inhabitants of the area live.
7Hypostyle Desert
King Deshret’s Former Abode
Hypostyle Desert is one of the most loaded areas inGenshin Impactwhen it comes to in-game content. The sheer amount of terrain that can be explored, and the marvelous architecture makethe Hypostyle Desertan incredible area to traverse.
The exterior part of the Hypostyle Desert is mesmerizing with rolling sand dunes and pyramids. The interior part, upon entering the Mausoleum of King Deshret, features interactive puzzles and remnants of King Deshret’s civilization which add a real grandeur to the Hypostyle Desert.
6Dragonspine
The Mountain With The Eternal Winter
Dragonspine is one of the oldest regions inGenshin Impact. However, it has stood the test of time and continues to be one of the best areas in the game. The Sheer Cold mechanic, often annoying, adds a realistic feel while exploring the area.
The ruins of Sal Vindagnyr, the catchy soundtrack, and the extensive in-game content make Dragonspine worthy of a spot on this list.
5Sea of Bygone Eras
The Remnants of Remuria
It is not a hot take to call theSea of Bygone Erasthe most beautiful area inGenshin Impact. The incredible soundtrack, majestic architecture, and somber feel make exploring the area an outstanding experience.

TheCourt of Fontaine Regionfeatures a bit of everything. The actual Court of Fontaine is the first city in the game that captures the feel of a metropolis. The amount of underwater exploration available in this area along with the stunning soundtrack makes it a very revisitable area.
To top it all off, the Opera Epiclese is a majestic building where some of the most iconic moments in the game’s story have taken place.
3The Chasm: Underground Mines
A Perilous and Unstable Environment
The Chasm was one of the most anticipated areas at the time of its release and the area did not disappoint one bit. While the Chasm’s exterior is a great area in its own right, the underground mines are where the real deal is. It is one of the creepiest and most unsettling areas in the game. It features powerful enemies and the ruins of a civilization with connections to Khaenri’ah.
At the very end of the underground mines is a Spiritstone likely dropped by Celestia while fighting The Second Who Came. The sheer amount of lore, in-game content, and unique ambiance makes The Chasm: Underground Mines one of the best areas in Genshin Impact.
2Narukami Island
The Beating Heart of Inazuma
Narukami Island is the place where a majority of Inazuma’s civilians live for a good reason. It is the only island that hasn’t been ravaged by thunderstorms and other calamities. Narukami Island truly encapsulates the culture of Inazuma as a nation with an unbreakable will.
It has plenty of content for players to get lost in and features many memorable locations, such as theSacred Sakura Treeand the Tenshukaku. Inazuma City is also a rare place of comfort and respite in a nation that seldom has any of its nature.

The Ruins Of An Ancient Civilization
Enkanomiya is one of the most gorgeous areas inGenshin Impact. It features possibly the best soundtrack in the game and easily contains the most important information about the game’s lore. Enkanomiya is a paradise for any lore lover, but it is just as enjoyable for any type of player.
The towering Dainichi Mikoshi, the ghosts of the ancient civilization, and the tragic backstory make Enkanomiya a special experience that is quite hard to come across in the game. The unique puzzles depend on the status of the Dainichi Mikoshi and the engaging quests are further proof of Enkanomiya being the best area inGenshin Impact.
