Despite Jack Bauer’s propensity to have very bad days in the television series,the big screen24adventure needs to be his worst day of all, with the threat on a global scale.Bauer has prevented assassinations, nuclear wars, viruses, nerve gas attacks and many more terrible incidences, but the24 Movieshould be his biggest mission yet.
The last time audiences saw the ex-federal agent, he was handing himself over to the Russians in 2014’s limited series,24: Live Another Day. A decade on from that,there needs to be a really good reason to bring Jack Bauer back, and saving the world from an unimaginable threat is probably a good way to go.Fans are speculating about what exactly could happen in the24 Movie, but information is non-existent at the moment.

What could happen to Jack Bauer that he hasn’t already faced? That is the question that needs answering during the development stages of theupcoming24 Movie. Kiefer Sutherland’s action hero is the ultimate bad-ass, but he’s paid the price for his heroics with huge personal losses. Chances are, Bauer would’ve been in captivity for over a decade when he is inevitably brought back to thwart an attack of epic proportions. This meansthe threat has to be on a global scale to justifyJack Bauer’s24return.The24television series mainly dealt with domestic terrorist threats, but the changes to the real-time format could potentially lead to a globe-trotting adventure for Bauer, and that is very exciting to many fans.
The world has changed drastically since24was last on screens in 2014, so there are many possible new threats that Jack Bauer could face that would raise the stakes significantly.It could be new and exciting to see Bauer try to save the world from a digital terror attack. It would also be very fitting to see the24 Movieprovide a commentary on the current state of terrorism in the digital age, and see how Jack Bauer would react to it. Bauer’s long-time associate, Chloe O’Brian (Mary Lynn Rajskub), would also fit in very well with a modern-day24adventure with her particular set of tech skills mixing with Bauer’s old school methods.
Day 1
I’m federal agent Jack Bauer and today is the longest day of my life.
It all started on the day of the California Presidential Primary, with Senator David Palmer (Dennis Haysbert) running for office when a credible threat was made to his life. Counter Terrorist agent Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) was on board to prevent the attack, and he succeeded despite suffering great personal loss with the death of his wife, Teri.
Day 2
Jack Bauer is inactive after Teri’s death, but President David Palmer calls on him to return to CTU to help stop a nuclear bomb from being detonated in Los Angeles. Jack’s daughter, Kim (Elisha Cuthbert), also gets chased down by a cougar in a much derived24storyline.
Day 3
Three years after thwarting the attacks on Los Angeles, Jack is back to stop a deadly virus from being unleashed on the city by a disgruntled former government agent. Jack also battles with an addiction to heroin after a deep cover mission trying to bring down drug dealers.
Day 4
No longer a CTU agent after being fired for his drug addiction, Jack is now working as security for Secretary James Heller (William Devane), and he’s back in action when Heller and his daughter Audrey Raines (Kim Raver) are kidnapped. Turns out, it’s all part of a bigger plot to launch a nuclear missile in the direction of Los Angeles, and Jack is reinstated as a CTU agent to help stop the attack. Bauer ends the day faking his own death after a mishap while infiltrating the Chinese consulate.
Day 5
Jack Bauer is brought back to stop a deadly nerve gas from being released, but he uncovers a web of corruption that goes up to the very top, with President Logan (Gregory Itzin) being involved in the assassination of former President, David Palmer. In a shocking plot twist, Bauer is kidnapped by the Chinese at the end, and must face the consequences of his actions.
Day 6
After 20 months in captivity, Jack Bauer is released in a deal that will see him be sacrificed to prevent a terror attack. However, Jack escapes and is brought back into the CTU fold to prevent terrorists from detonating suitcase nukes.
Redemption
Jack Bauer is in Africa when he receives a subpoena to appear in front of the US senate. However, he must save some local children from an attack by General Benjamin Juma (Tony Todd) and his militia. Events occur in real time over a two-hour period.
Day 7
Jack Bauer ends up working for the FBI when it is discovered that his former ally, Tony Almeida (Carlos Bernard), is alive and plotting an attack on Washington DC.
Day 8
Jack Bauer joins forces with the New York division of CTU to assist with an assassination plot on the President of Kamistan, Omar Hassan (Anil Kapoor), during a peace treaty. However, he ends up getting embroiled in a beef with the Russians after they kill former FBI agent, Renee Walker (Annie Wersching). The season ends with Bauer going on a nihilistic killing spree which results in him going on the run from the authorities.
Day 9 - Live Another Day
Jack Bauer is now a fugitive, but he resurfaces in London after he hears about an assassination attempt on James Heller, who is now the president. The Russians catch up to Bauer, and the series ends with the ex CTU agent back in captivity.
