Genshin Impact’s Natlan has many opportunities for players to explore and earn various rewards. One such collectible item is thePyroculus, the nation’s version of an oculus that is used to level up the Statue of Seven. Leveling up the Statue also gives players additional rewards in the form ofMora,Primogems,Shrine of Depths Keys, and Pyro Sigils.
Since the region of Natlan is pretty vast, this guide will cover the Tequemecan Valley main area only. Tequemecan Valley has three sub-regions within it; the Children of the Echoes tribe, Tepeacac Rise, and Sulfurous Veins. There are a total of 45 Pyroculus in the area and some of them are locked behindGenshin Impactquests, so players will need to complete them during the collection process.
“Children of Echoes” Pyroculus Locations in Genshin Impact
There are6 Pyroculusthat players can collect in the Children of Echoes region of Tequemecan Valley.
Pyroculus Location 1
The route first starts from the teleport waypoint when you first enter Natlan. Head straight down the path and towards the canyon formation which houses the Children of Echoes tribe. There will be a Pyroculus just in your path.
Pyroculus Location 2
The second Pyroculus will be directly opposite theChildren of the Echoes Reputation point. It will be suspended in the air, hanging beneath a pointy rock formation. You can use an Anemo character or climb a nearby rock to gain some height.
Pyroculus Location 3
The third Pyroculus is located above you at the top of the cliff opposite the Statue of the Seven. It’s impossible to climb without a Saurian, so from the Reputation point, glide all the way down to find a Tepetlisaurus digging around. Indwell it and use its ability to travel up the side of the mountain until you reach the top. The Pyroculus will be near a tribal warrior camp at the top of a tall rock pillar.
Pyroculus Location 4
From the previous point, glide across to the cliffsouthof your location and keep going until you reach the edge. The next Pyroculus will be located on a rock just below you.
Pyroculus Location 5
Next, turn left and glide up the hill to the eastern edge of the map. You’ll comeacross a tribal warrior campset up inside the skeleton of a monster. The Pyroculus will be at the top of the bones.
Pyroculus Location 6
From the previous location, teleport back to the Statue of Seven and head across to the cliff in front of you. Stick to your left since you need to head to the edge of it to find a Pyroculus that is under a long-necked Rhino.
Tepeacac Rise Pyroculus Locations in Genshin Impact
The Tepeacac Rise pyroculus locations take players towards the valley as well, all the way down toward the Basin of Unnumbered Flames. There are a total of23 Pyroculusto collect here.
Pyroculus Location 7
Once you’ve collected all the Pyroculus, head to the waypoint at the top of the mountain in Tepeacac Rise. You need to headsouth on the maptowards the bottom of the mountain to find a tribal warrior camp. Indwell the Tepetlisaurus in the camp
Pyroculus Location 8
Teleport back to the same waypoint and head to the other end of the mountain. The Pyroculus will be on the branch of a tree.
Pyroculus Location 9
From the tree, turn left and you’ll see the next Pyroculus. You can glide across to find it on a rock.
Pyroculus Location 10
The next set of the Pyroculus can be found inside the Flamegranate Root Cave. This is a location that is quest-locked and can only be opened after completingthe quest Ripe for Trouble. The first Pyroculus in the area is to your left of the main tree root.
Pyroculus Location 11
The next one can be found on the lower level of the cave at the surface of the lava pool. This is the same lava pool players escaped from during the Rite of the Bold quest. You can go back to the area by using the Yumkasaurus Spiritsconce in the area and heading left to find the hole.
Pyroculus Location 12
Players will receive this Pyroculus in the middle of the Rite of the Bold quest when they reach a lower level with ruins. They can once again use the Yumkasaurus ability to reach the oculi.
Pyroculus Location 13
This Pyroculus is also in the same area and located at the top of a pillar. If you head north from the previous point, you’ll be able to spot it at the top of the ruins in front of you.
Pyroculus Location 14
The next Pyroculus is a little tricky to get as it’s located deep inside a lava pool cave. You can reach this cave using the above-indicated waypoint and head left to the edge of the cliff. Jump off and stick to your left as you glide across the waterfall to find a small opening. Therewill be some graffiti on the wall indicating the cave entranceand some tribal warriors will be lingering about. Head all inside and all the way down. You need to indwell a Tepetlisaurus and travel inward until you see a molten fissure to enter.
The fissure will take you all the way inside towards a Pyroculus that you can claim. Be careful not to fall into the lava since you will need to get out of the Saurian form and jump across the lava stream to reach the Pyroculus.
Pyroculus Location 15
This Pyroculus will be located on a small pond on Tepeacac Rise. You can teleport to the above waypoint as indicated and glide down to find it. You’ll need to indwell a Yumkasaurus to collect it.
Pyroculus Location 16
This Pyroculus can only be obtained during the Revelations of the Past quest. It will be in the left corner room and above the Pyro totem.
Pyroculus Location 17
As you head further into the ruins during the quest, you’ll spot this Pyroculus near the staircase. You need to first break the wall to retrieve the Pyroculus and head to the other side.
Pyroculus Location 18
The next Pyroculus during this quest can beobtained after completing the Tepetlisaurus puzzlein the first room. Players will automatically get it after walking across the crystal rock bridge.
Pyroculus Location 19
Head to the teleport waypoint directly across down the valley and turn left to see the Pyroculus perched on a rock.
Pyroculus Location 20
From the previous point, keep heading straight and at the base of the valley, you’ll find a Pyroculus under a long-necked Rhino.
Pyroculus Location 21
After collecting the Pyroculus under the long-necked rhino, turn left and head towards the waterfall. In the middle of the waterfall, on a rock, you’ll find the Pyroculus.
Pyroculus Location 22
Head downstream from the waterfall and towards a larger reserve with trees and some enemies at its base. The Pyroculus will be in the air and you’ll need to use a nearby Yumkasaurus to retrieve it.
Pyroculus Location 23
After collecting the previous Pyroculus, turn left and head to the edge of the cliff behind the tree. If you glide down, you’ll be able to claim the Pyroculus there.
Pyroculus Location 24
Teleport to the waypoint indicated above and turn right. If you look down into the canyon in front of you, you’ll be able to spot the Pyroculus. Players can also use this route to unlock theGluttonous Yumkasaur Mountain King boss.
Pyroculus Location 25
Teleport back up to the previous waypoint and straight towards a tribal warrior camp near a rock. You’ll be able to recognize it with the multiple ladders and platforms. There will also be some graffiti on the wallpointing up towardsthe Pyroculus. You’ll need to use the Yumkasaurus ability to collect it.
Pyroculus Location 26
You will need to scale the rock you are currently on to grab this Pyroculus. This is the same rock with the graffiti on it. Once you’re at the top, use the Yumkasaur ability to carry you across and the Pyroculus will be at the edge of this wooden platform.
Pyroculus Location 27
After collecting the previous one, fly straight across the plains to find this Pyroculus perched on top of a rock.
Pyroculus Location 28
Teleport to the Ancient Watchtower domain and head left to find this Pyroculus near a rock.
Pyroculus Location 29
From the bottom of the mountain at the previous point, head up towards the tribal warrior camp you see. The Pyroculus will be at the top of the hut and youneed to use the Yumkasaurus ability to reach it.
Sulfurous Veins Pyroculus Locations in Genshin Impact
There are around15 Pyroculusup for collection in the Sulforous Veins area. you should make sure to unlock all the waypoints before searching for the oculi here, since there are quite a few of them underground.
Pyroculus Location 30
Teleport to the underground waypoint at Sulfurous Veins and turn east to spot this Pyroculus on top of a crystal rock.
Pyroculus Location 31
From the previous location, head straight towards the bridge beside you to find a Pyroculus underneath it. you may just glide down and grab it, and then make your way back up.
Pyroculus Location 32
Once you’re back on the bridge and facing the tribal warrior camp, lookup and towards your rightto see the next Pyroculus. You’ll only be able to get thisone by using the Tepetlisaurus’s digging ability.
Pyroculus Location 33
Then, keep heading down the pathway until you come to a clearing of sorts in front of you, and the Pyroculus will be suspended in air by the cliff. There’s a mini puzzle to solve that will bring you to the Pyroculus. First indwell the Tepetlisaurus in front of you and head to the right-side of the rock. Attack the crystal you see to start the puzzle and then head up to claim the Pyroculus.
Pyroculus Location 34
After that, look to your left and you’ll see a large crystal rock. There will be a Pyroculus on top and you’ll have to use the Tepetlisaurus digging ability to reach that as well.
Pyroculus Location 35
To find this Pyroculus, head deeper into the area towards your right until you see a big rock and some capybaras lingering around. You’ll need to once again indwell a nearby Tepetlisaurus to climb the rock and collect the oculi.
Pyroculus Location 36
Then, head north (or straight from the previous location) towards the edge of the area and look below to find a Pyroculus on top of a rock.
Pyroculus Location 37
Collecting this Pyroculus will require players to teleport to the waypoint above ground (this is the one located on the massive rock in the middle of the area). Head south towards the edge until you see a device that needs to be infused with Phlogiston.After that, walk up the steps to collect the Pyroculus in the air.
Pyroculus Location 38
From the last location, you can teleport back to the same waypoint and glide north all the way down to find a molten fissure to enter. This fissure will carry you up the cliff and towards the Pyroculus in the corner.
Pyroculus Location 39
Afterwards, turn right and head down the path to find a tribal warrior camp. There will be a Pyroculus on a big skeleton to claim.
Pyroculus Location 40
Head deeper inside the area until you come to the underground waypoint which can only be accessed by completing the Beneath the Crystal Rock quest. The Pyroculus will be to your left on top of a rock formation.
Pyroculus Location 41
Now, head back up to thewaypoint at thefar northof Sulfurous Veinsand turn your frame left. At the top of the rock pillar in front of you, there will be a Pyroculus to claim.
Pyroculus Location 42
The next Pyroculus will be south of your position and will require you to unlock the storage cart behind the enemies. Kill them and find the key near the entrance of the key (the area will be glowing). Once you unlock it, you’re able to save the baby Tepetlisaurus and claim the Pyroculus inside.
Pyroculus Location 43
Teleport back up to the same waypoint and head east on the map towards a clearing. There will be a Pyroculus inside a tree trunk to claim.
Pyroculus Location 44
After collecting the Pyroculus in the tree trunk, look to your right to see a Tepetlisaurus sitting near the edge of a cliff. You need to head down from that cliff to find this Pyroculus located on the skeleton bone.
Pyroculus Location 45
To find the final Pyroculus in this region, head left and down the mountain. Keep going left as you turn your frame towards the scenery because this Pyroculus can easily be missed. It will be located at the top of a very tall rock pillar, so just glide across to collect it.
