Summary
In a world awaiting imminent destruction by a body known as the Heavenly Invaders, five mages rose against the onslaught and emerged victorious. They became known as the Magia Vander in the world ofWistoria: Wand and Sword. Powerful in their own right, the Magia Vander inspired many more to seek strength and many did.
Since then, mage after mage has risen to power, maintaining the barrier protecting them from their oppressors. The rivalry among mages is on the rise. Those eyeing the position of the Magia Vander and those who are against them, Gothia, continue to evolve in strength. Even those without magic inWistoria: Wand and Swordstrive for greatness.

However, while the Magia Vander and the few known Gothia members have been shown to be powerful, they aren’t the only ones who know how to launch a sufficiently powerful attack.In Wistoria: Wand And Sword, young budding mages like Will Serfort and his friends have proven themselves to be geniuses indeed, having the capabilities to go against individuals and monsters on a much higher level than them. So far, alongside the Magia Vander and the brewing darkness, these students have portrayed themselves as some of the most powerful individuals based on the current feats and potential they’ve portrayed.
14Lihanna
A Valedictorian Of Excellence
Born from the noble Owenzaus Knight family, Lihanna was always regarded as in another league among students of the academy, and she graduated as the valedictorian of her year to prove it. She obtained the most credits any student can obtain, scoring full points in academics, praxis, and spell work.
As a Thunder mage and the descendant of a knight family, Lihanna is skilled in close combat, which gives her an edge over mages that specialize only in spellwork. Like the Thunder Magia vander, Lihanna simply augments her body with lightning, boosting her physical attack and defensive prowess to the max.
13Sion
A Relentless Rival Driven By Obsession
Particularly due to his animosity toward Will Serfort, Sion has grown massively ever since the beginning of the series. He’s not one of the academy’s top three, but that hardly tells the true ranking of the students in terms of actual combat prowess and magical ability; but even then, Sion was close to the top three before graduating.
As any hero has, Sion can be regarded as Will’s natural rival, even though the protagonist has his eyes set much higher. Due to that particular notion of being ignored by Will, Sion obsessively desires to be stronger, and while he’s not comparable to the Magia Vander and the likes, his abilities have come a long way.
12Julius
An Upcoming Ice Prodigy
Of the top three at Regarden Magical Academy, Julius might not have been the strongest, but he was certainly the most talented. Without any help, he was able to replicate some of Elfaria’s legendary techniques from El Glace Frosse, accelerating his magic prowess and even stalling the other top three of the academy with his clones, even if for a limited time.
With proper training from Will Serfort regarding Elfaria’s techniques, Julius was able to further improve his magic prowess,taking his ice magic to the next level. While he comes across as generally narcissistic, Julius is able to change after encountering Will.
11Wignall
The Prideful Genius Of The Elven Realm
As an elf, Wignall is naturally prideful and restricts those who have access to him, believing some to be more worthy than others. His general distaste for humans comes from his perceived superiority over them in terms of magical prowess as a high elf.
In terms of abilities, Wignall is considered to be the weakest elf; however, aside from Ellenor Ljos Alf, the Magia Vander,no other named elf has been portrayed, pushing Wignall up the list of the most powerful known characters. During his time at the academy, Wignall was ranked second and even won the Grand Festival, showing that he’s more skilled than most.
10Will Serfort
The One Who Unites Wand And Sword
The main character of theWistoria: Wand and Swordseries has grown from a simple sword-wielding boy to a Sword who can now use the power of Wis. Will is special, no doubt, and his abilities make him even more so. Despite his powers still being half-baked, he has managed to overpower various monsters and enemies through his tactics and sheer strength.
Managing to find the power of Wis during a siege, Will single-handedly leads the charge against the invading monsters, showing that even while he’s still learning the true nature of his abilities, his current capabilities are not to be underestimated.
9Headless
A Collector Of Heads
As a member of Gothia, Headless truly embodies gothiness. As his name depicts, he has no head, with smoke in place of where his head should be. For this reason or another, he has a huge obsession with heads, usually taking off the head of whoever he defeats.
Headless was a big menace during the combined hands-on exercise, killing nearly all the teachers in the dungeon brutally. He is also supposedly responsible for the death of the Luminous Naberus, the highly feared boss of the 10th floor, as Will and his team found the creature dead despite being the first to get to that floor.
8Caldron Anouve
The Secret Witch Of Regarden
The headmaster of the Regarden Magical Academy does not look down upon anyone and believes in equal opportunities. Able to use some sort of age-altering magic, the headmaster frequently changes between the 64-year-old Caldron Anouve and 20-year-old Ceridwen. As a unique entity, Ceridwen is known as one of the seven wonders of the academy and Finn refers to her as a “witch.”
Aside from her age-altering magic, Ceridwen isable to use different types of magic. During her confrontation with Will and Julius, she proves herself by instantaneously conjuring every element of magic except light all with no chanting.
7Finn
The Trainer Of Swords
Finn is a member of the Finne tribe, a tribe known for being Dungeon guides. While they serve as non-magical people, they have accumulated knowledge about the dungeon that makes them very important. Going head to head with Ceridwen, Finn is to handle swords as Ceridwen is to handle wands.
As a handler of swords, Finn is proficient in physical combat. His proficiency in both ability and knowledge of the dungeon is enough to gain respect from the likes of Ceridwen and even Aaron, who uses him as a tour guide in the dungeon despite his very young age.
6Edward Serfence
The Man Closest To Becoming A Magia Vander
The man closest to the Magia Vander in strength, Edward Serfenceis the strongest professorat Regarden Magical Academy. Preferring to use the stick rather than the carrot, he often uses a strong hand on his students, but he does this because he cares. The speed at which he rushed to help his students with the complications that arose during their exams is highly admirable.
Edward is an extremely skilled mage who makes use of Dark magic, a magic rare amongst mages. With a variety of techniques of different magnitudes, he can use his abilities flawlessly, casting them at high speeds.
5Ellenor Ljos Alf
The Queen Of Elves Is A Master At Illusions
The Queen of the Elves holds magic in high regard and looks down heavily on those unable to use it. As an elf, Ellenor’s strengths lie inwind magic and illusions. Her proficiency with this magic is highly commendable, having created the King’s Forest as a child.
Ellenor’s pride makes her highly competitive, as she frequently picks fights with others. She once challenged Elfaria in ice magic and lost. However, it’s worth considering that she faced Elfaria in her strongest area. If she used her true abilities, the battle could’ve ended very differently. Like Zeo, Ellenor is highly adept in harmonious casting and claims Zeo stole the technique from the elves.
