9Yi Mok
Title: North Justice Blade
The leader of the Forces of Justice and an acknowledged master among the Top Five Strongest masters, Yi Mok, is the head of the Justice Clan and a master of immense strength, as his title suggests.
However, aside from a brief appearance so far, not much is known or has been shown about Yi Mok or his abilities, just like the other memebers of the Top Five. A master at the Profound Realm, Yi Mok earns his spot simply by being one of Murim’s Top Five strongest masters.
8Wang Jing
Title: Martial Dual Swords
Once affiliated with the Forces of Justice and one of Murim’s acknowledged Top Five Strongest masters, Wang Jing is famous for his title as the Martial Dual Swords due to hisextreme prowess of dual bladesshown by his revenge rampage after losing his wife, where he massacred over 3000 pirates which led to a downsizing of the River Families from thirty to eighteen.
An action that led him to become an outcast alongside his daughter and son. However, he pledges to join the Demonic Cult and then rises to become the cult’s 2nd Great Elder, a position where the minimum requirement is the Profound Realm of cultivation.
7Cheon Yu-Jong
Title: Southern Demon Lord
The 23rd leader of the Demonic Cult and a member of the acknowledged top Five Murim masters, Cheon Yu-Jong inherits his title of strength ‘The Southern Demon Lord’ from his father, Cheon Inji. Powerful to say the least, a lot of Cheon Yu-Jong’s feats are currently undisclosed.
However, his strength as martial artist is undeniable given that he became the head of the Demonic Cult, a position that can only be attained through unrivaled and unparalleled strength. In addition, he is also one of the Five acknowledged martials masters, a feat that not only attests to his strength but also cements it on this list.
6Marakyum
Title: Great Guardian
An existence feared greatly within the Demonic Cult. Marakyum is the Great Guardian and protector of the Heavenly Demon Order and has been expressly stated to be the third strongest member of the cult after the Lord and the 1st Elder, Mu Jinwon. Marakyum is even more famousfor his speedand swift sword techniques, which earned him the title of Dark King.
However, his strength is actually underestimated as he once defeated the 1st Elder, Mu Jinwon, when he taught the way of the True Demon Sword to the elder alongside the tenth elder, Yeon Mu Hwa.
5Mun Ran-Yeong
Title: Great Elder
More or less an ancestor of the Heavenly Demonic Cult, having livedover two hundred yearsprior, Mun Ran-Yeong was among the first protectors of the Qilin’s core kept beneath the Imperial Palace.
Immensely powerful, Ran-Yeong is the first person to be able to drink and assimilate the blood of the Flame Qilin, making her an Enlightened Grandmaster of the Profound Realm. As a testament to her strength and loyalty, she is also the first to become a Great Elder of the cult under Cheon Yeo-Woon.
4Lim Gyu-Hwa
Title: Wave Sword Emperor
A past member of the Top Five Strongest Masters in Murim and also the Emperor’s Ture Guardian, Lim Gyu is one of the series’ current strongest characters due to his affinity with the Qilin’s blood that granted him regeneration and the insight to reach the Peak Profound Realm.
Once acknowledged as one of Murim’s strongest masters, Gyu-Hwa only stepped down from the position due to his task as the Guardian escort of the empire. The undoubted master of the Wave Sword Technique, Gyu-Hwa, unfortunately, met his end at the hands of Cheon Yeo-Woon after challenging the latter to a duel for the emperor’s life.
3Ark Wui
Title: God of The East
The Changbai Mountain Guardian, Ark Wui, is the oldest and expressly stated to be the strongest member of the Top Five Strongest Masters of Murim. According to the series, not much is known about him, but Ark Wui climbed to the title with only his fists and no weapons.
Among the five, he is also the first to have the character of God attached to his title. His strength is immense to the point that he even defeated the Blade God and the leaders of the Blade God Six Martial Clan. However, his whereabouts are currently unknown.
2Cheon Yeo-Woon
Title: Demon God
The story’s main characterand current leader of the Heavenly Demonic Cult, Cheon Yeo-Woon, is undoubtedly one of the series’ most powerful individuals. He is the youngest martial master to achieve the Life and Death Realm cultivation while possessing three different cores of energy.
As the leader of the Demonic Cult, Cheon Woon’s strength is beyond terrifying as he is the first person in over 800 years to inherit the Heavenly Demon Sword and the demon within it; other than the first demonic cult leader, Cheon Ma, leading to an exponential increase in his overall power and abilities.
1Blade God
Title: Blade God
The series’ main antagonist,the Blade God, is the founder of the Blade God Six Martial Clan and the creator of the Extreme Art of the Blade God. Even though there has been no display of the Blade God’s abilities and power, he is undoubtedly the series' current strongest individual, as he’s responsible for the death of the 7th Lord of the Demonic Cult and has lived for over a thousand years.
He exists outside the limits of humanity’s martial arts and one with the law of nature in the Natural Realm, a stage of martial arts that no one currently in the series has reached.
