Terry Bogard is the Latest Fighter to Join Street Fighter 6

Although it’s not a direct reference to Terry Bogard,Twitter user UltimaShadowXfound an unexpected Neo Geo CD Easter egg. They discovered that the loading screen of Terry’s World Tour, which shows a monkey with the text “Now Loading / Please Wait," is the same as the one on the console. Launched in 1994 in Japan and later in the US, the Neo Geo CD made it easier for players to accessSNK games, including classics such asArt of Fighting 2,Double Dragon, andSamurai Shodown 3: Blades of Blood. On the other hand, the console became infamous for having incredibly long loading times.

With theaddition of Terry Bogard toStreet Fighter 6, there are two more fighters left for Capcom to complete the Year 2 releases. Although no release date has yet been confirmed, fans will see Elena, the popular Kenyan capoeira fighter, returning in spring 2025. Also next year, Mai Shiranui, another popular fighter from SNK’s games, will arrive in the winter at a date to be confirmed.
