Fae Farm PlayStation and Xbox Ports Announced
Phoenix Labs has now revealed that its latest game is coming to even more platforms, having just confirmed it for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The PlayStation and Xbox versions ofFae Farmare scheduled to debut on October 22. That’s also the date when the game will launch on the Microsoft Store. PC gamers have so far only been able to purchase theindie farming simvia Steam and the Epic Games Store. Although its Xbox Store page is still not live, PlayStation users can alreadypre-orderFae Farmfrom the PS Storefor $29.99.
Fae Farm to Offer Full Cross-Play Across All Platforms
Aside from launching via Nintendo’s eShop, the Switch version ofFae Farmalso had a physical release back in September 2023. It is presently unclear whether the upcoming Xbox and PlayStation ports will follow suit. What’s certain is that they will include all of the freepost-launch content thatFae Farmhas receivedto date. Likewise, Phoenix Labs confirmed that its farming sim will offer full cross-play support across all platforms. This should facilitate the process of assembling co-op multiplayer parties, which can be up to four players strong inFae Farm.
Fae Farm’s two big expansions,Coasts of CroakiaandSkies of Azoria, will still be sold separately on PlayStation and Xbox. According to the game’s PS Store listing, these DLC packs will be included in the farming sim’s Deluxe Edition, which will retail for $44.99. Phoenix Labs previously committed to only two post-launch expansions, making it unclear whether the game will receive any more big content additions.
Either way,Fae Farm’s upcoming ports promise to expand Xbox and PlayStation consoles' libraries of compelling farming sims.
