This particular update is a relatively small one, where out of the five patches, four of those are bug fixes. The update focuses on adding data aboutSplatoon 3’s Grand Festival event, which will include performances from Squid Sisters, Off the Hook, and Deep Cut idols.
Version 9.1.0 will fix song issues that play during battles which were weighted toward certain songs, the Squeezer weapon not firing properly, a problem that saw players get stuck under the water’s surface while performing certain actions during the tide level changes, and a photo-mode issue that didn’t play the sound effect when performing the Zoom or Tilt actions.
InSplatoon 3’s previous update 9.0.0, players saw changes to the game’s multiplayer experience, enhancing the responsiveness of in-game actions by reducing the time it takes for players to send and receive data during battles. The update also brought changes to several main and special weapons inSplatoon 3,which included the Squeezer and Foil Squeezer, in an effort to keep its fun gameplay as balanced as possible.
Recently,Splatoon 3gave away free gearin preparation for the Grand Festival Splatfest and Triumvirate Big Run this September. The free loot included seven new pieces of headgear that represent one ofSplatoon 3’s teams: Past, Present, or Future. The Grand Festival starts on September 12 and runs through September 15.
