Spinel Fruitis a material only native to the region of Natlan inGenshin Impact. This is because it can only be grown in the Phlogiston Lava Pools around Natlan. There are only two areas in Natlan that have Phlogiston Lava Pools. This makes collecting the Spinel Fruits relatively easy, except for the fact that they grow in rivers of lava.
The rivers of lava are not easy to navigate as a single touch can gradually make your characters lose HP fast. The only being capable oftraversing the lava is the Koholasaurus. When players enter the lava pool caves, they need to make sure toindwell the Koholasaurusto safely swim through the lava and pick up each Spinel fruit.
Phlogiston Research Extraction Center (Fatui Cave) - Spinel Fruit Locations
Teleport to the Blazing Ruins domain and headsouth on the map to find a cave.Jump down to find some Fatuithat you’ll have to defeat before heading inside. You’ll reach an area with some pipes and the first few Spinel Fruits you can pick up. Once you have saved the Yumkasaur from the cage, use its ability to get across and open the gate. You can now unlock the waypoint and easily traverse the research facility.
Head down the stairs and look to your right to find some Spinel Fruits. The next batch is directly across and near a cage holding a Tepetlisaur. After collecting that, turn left and head towards the large machine surrounded by the lava. There will be more Spinel Fruits to collect around here. Players will need to be careful not to touch the lava since the fruits are extremely close to the pools that have no solid ground to step on.
Flamegranate Tree Roots Cave - Spinel Fruit Locations
The Phlogiston Research Extraction Center is located in a cave between Tequemecan Valley and Tepeacac Peak. The area is lockedbehind the world quest Ripe For Troubleand it’s only after completing it that you will be able to gain access to the area where the Spinel Fruit grows. Once you teleport to the area, fly into the cave and head towards the tree root, which has a Spirtsconce. You’ll need to indwell the Yumkasaur for this route as the Spinel Fruits are in the lower roots of the lava pool.
Once you have indwelled the Yumkasaur, look straight to find a grappling hook to latch on and use the Yumkasaurs ability. You need tohead left towards the holebelow you. This is the same hole that you came out of after completing the Ripe for Trouble quest. Keep heading down, past the massive lake of lava and towards this other tiny cave with mini pools of lava. The Spinel Fruits will be growing there.
Ameyalco Waters - Spinel Fruit Locations
Ameyalco Waters is more abundant in Spinel Fruits but is quite possibly the hardest to obtain if you aren’t accustomed to the abilities of the Koholasaurus. If you have yet to unlock the underground waypoint in the area, it is advisable to first complete the world quest:Tracer No TracingandSeeker No Finding. The area is quest locked and there is no other way to open it.
Once you have teleported, the first few Spinel Fruits will be below you, so you will need to carefully navigate past the lava to grab the Spinel Fruits. Then, head straight to find some Koholasaurus to indwell and the rest of the Spinel Fruits should be on the same level as you. You’ll then have to use the air current and the Koholasaurus jump skill to propel yourself to the other lava pools which grow the other Spinel Fruits.
After collecting everything, use the same teleport waypoint, turn left, and head up the path. You’ll find some more Spinel Fruits scattered around to collect.
This marks the end of the route and players should have successfully collected all 15 Spinel Fruits. There are not many but still enough for players if they are planning to unlock thenew 4-star sword Flute of Ezpitzalfrom the Blacksmith Alom. The fruit can also be used in various dishes, so make sure to stock up on it whenever you can.
