The defensive style of a weapon determines how the player can block or parry when using that weapon. There arethree defensive styles that can be used: Balanced, Fencing, and Block. Which Melee Defensive Style Is Best In Space Marine 2

Space Marine 2has a heavy focus on aggressive melee combat that rewards the player with health and armor for killing enemies in melee and landing perfect parries. While blocking incoming damage can protect you, it doesn’t give anything back. Overall,Fencing is the best optionto get on any melee weapon, and players should prioritize it anytime they can.

Landing aperfect parry will leave an enemy open to a gun strike, which will have you pull out your sidearm pistol for a quick shot. These shots will deal much more damage than usual and can either kill or an enemy orset them up for an executionif they are weak enough. While there are some benefits to playing slow and blocking incoming damage, a wider window for perfect parries makes this play style much easier to master.
