AlthoughThe War Withincampaign started with an explosive debut, the finale of the current chapter recently hit an unexpected stumbling block. According to a Blizzard forum post,The War Within’s initial campaign finale was taken offline following a brief availability period that some players were able to take advantage of. As players began logging in for the day and working through the campaign’s final quests, a cutscene that would have played during the climax did not function as intended. As a result of the cutscene bug, the chapter called “A Light In the Dark” that would have been offered by Alleria Windrunner could not be started by level 80 players. The bug was uncovered around 12:30 PM Eastern, and a fix was implemented on live servers at approximately 2:30 PM Eastern.
