Redditor First_Ad_793 noticed that players are able to seeSkyrim’s College of Winterholdin the distance when looking in its direction from Solitude. It’s not as detailed, of course, but the shape is very distinctive to the college. One player in the thread was unsure about whether this was the College of Winterhold or another tower, but another user provided reasoning as to why it is the iconic location, claiming “you’re able to clearly see the shape of the pillar of land it’s on. The jagged dark area to the right of it is the tower of Nightcaller temple.”
