Falmer are completely blind and rely on scent and sound to track a player, and their ears can be collected after slaying them.
It seems that thisSkyrimplayer has a particular grudge against Falmer, or at least runs into them frequently. Reddit user thedude1240 shared a screenshot of their copy of the game in which their Dragonborn is carrying a whopping 860 Falmer Ears. Some players were stunned by this feat, with one pointing out that this meant the player had killed an absolute minimum of 430 Falmer in their time in the game. However, thedude1240 noted that they’ve killed many more than that, but theirDragonborn can only carry so much.

In fact, the sheer amount of weight the player is carrying purely in Falmer Ears is quite ridiculous. The player is carrying 172 units worth of Falmer Ears, which is equivalent to the weight of an entire Nord man. Some suggested that the player should eat some of them, as they provide buffs that can be useful in combat. However, another pointed out that despite the player’s apparent experience in defeating Falmer, they don’t seem to have much Alchemy under their belt, as their Dragonborn only recognizes one potentialeffect of consuming a Falmer Earout of the four possible.
Of course, withSkyrimbeing over a decade old, some players have achieved feats even more ridiculous - and impressive - than thedude1240’s. One player shared a screenshot of their game where they had attempted to sell 1299227647 gold worth of loot, though there’s no way to confirm if it’s legitimate gains or something they usedSkyrim’s console commands to achieve.
