The company has now confirmed that won’t be the case, having announced another one of its Xbox TGS Broadcasts for September 26. The livestream is scheduled to kick off at 7pm JST / 3am PT / 6am ET /12pm CET, two hours after the show floor closes on the first day. While Xbox still has no plans to exhibit at the2024 edition of Tokyo Game Show, that is par for the course, not least because it’s been years since it had a show floor presence at the event.
Developers To Be Featured at Xbox TGS 2024 Broadcast
As for what fans can expect from the livestream itself, Microsoft said that the event will feature upcoming projects from all of its major game publishing arms: Xbox Game Studios, Activision Blizzard, and Bethesda. The broadcast will also showcase some unreleased titles that are in the works at Xbox partners from across Asia. This third-party component of the show will also include the announcements ofnew Xbox Game Pass releases, Microsoft has confirmed.
How To Watch Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2024 Broadcast
The September 26 showcase will be live-streamed via the officialTokyo Game Show YouTube channel. The event will also be broadcast on a wide variety of Xbox social channels, including those in English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, French, German, Italian, and Mexican Spanish, among over a dozen others. Hearing-impaired viewers will be able to tune into special broadcasts featuring American Sign Language, Australian Sign Language, and Japanese Sign Language interpreters. The full list of social media channels that will live-stream the Xbox TGS 2024 Broadcast will be made available on the week of the show, so no sooner than September 23.
The event itself is scheduled to take place just four days beforeStarfield’sShattered Spaceexpansion hits the market. It’s hence likely to feature either another look at the upcoming DLC, or perhaps a hint at Bethesda’s future plans for its sci-fi RPG. As far the broadcast’s third-party lineup is concerned, Sega seems likely to participate in the showcase, given how its relationship with Xbox has been steadily strengthening in recent years.
