Summary

Coffee Stain Studios has just released a new hotfix forSatisfactory, aimed at fixing a bunch of bugs with a special focus on multiplayer and dedicated servers. Even though it’s not a big update, theSatisfactorydeveloper has promised that these fixes will improve the game and prepare things for bigger updates coming soon.

Satisfactoryis an open-world factory-building gameset on an alien planet, and it’s been growing and changing since it first came out in early access in 2019. In the game, players build huge factories, automate production, and explore different biomes, all while dealing with dangerous creatures. Players can choose to play solo or with friends, and it features a complex system for managing resources and logistics, which makes it both challenging and rewarding.

Some of the key fixes in this update include addressing a bug whereSatisfactory’s Coal Generatorswould stop working in certain situations, as well as fixing a crash that occurred when using the chainsaw on specific types of foliage. While there are still some plants that can’t be removed with the chainsaw, players can now use the Nobelisk to clear them instead. The update also fixed several crashes related to multiplayer sessions, making co-op play more stable. Additionally, the developer removed the high-resolution screenshot feature from photo mode, which had been causing crashes for some players.

Even thoughSatisfactoryhas overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam, there were still some user experience improvements needed. The patch permanently fixed the ongoing issue with the AMD driver pop-up and added a useful tooltip to the language selection menu. As for community-driven translations, which are incomplete for some languages, they’ll be added as they’re finished. The developer also encouraged players to help with translations by contributing through its Discord server. Dedicated servers received some attention too, with a fix ensuring the Dedicated Server Manager properly connects to the right network address. This should solve the issues some players were having when setting up their servers.

In a message to players, theSatisfactorydevelopment team explained that the hotfix was needed to address some important gameplay issues, but it also mentioned that most of the team would be taking a short break. It encouraged players to check the Known Issues section for solutions to any remaining bugs, such as installation problems and mods not working with version 1.0. The team also reassured everyone that more updates are on the way.

WithSatisfactory’s release of version 1.0,the game has added more content, but new issues have emerged. This latest update is another step toward improving the game’s performance, ensuring players can keep building and exploring without interruptions.
