Toys for Bob Website May Be Teasing New Spyro Game
As noted before, there have been plenty of rumors surrounding a newSpyro the Dragongame. A few months after becoming an independent developer, Toys for Bob announced that it had entereda new partnership with Xbox, which now owns the rights to both theSpyroandCrash Bandicootfranchises following its highly publicized acquisition of Activision Blizzard last year. Before that, fans had heard claims of Toys for Bob working on a newSpyrogame with the supposed subtitle ofMystery of the Dragon, which developers were reportedly discussing during PAX East 2024 back in March.
It should be stated that most of these rumors are merely speculation at this point, and Toys for Bob has yet to officially announce its next project under its new partnership with Xbox. However,Spyro the Dragonremains a fondly remembered franchiseamong PS1-era gamers, and a social media post from the start of the year promised big news for the reptilian mascot in 2024.
