It goes without saying that the game has added tons of new pals to fight and collect.
1New Pals
Addition: Several New Unique Pals
The bread and butter ofPalworldis the number of pals in the game, and having more is always better. From the launch, the developers have added severalnew and unique palsto the roster for players to hunt and catch.
The new pals match the design aesthetic of the older ones and provide great use within a team to warrant using them in battle. Special and alpha pals were also added, but they are a challenge to catch. However, they are worth adding to any pal roster.
2Raids
Addition: New PVE Activity
Nothing beats teaming up to defeat a massive enemy. Raids allow players to band together to battle through a dungeon and tackle tough raid bosses that requireteamwork to take down. Players now have an even bigger incentive to build a powerful pal team and develop team plans to tackle bosses together. Raids can be tackled solo but will be far more of a challenge.
With bigger challenges come bigger rewards. The rewards for the Bellanoir raid battles vary from common loot to rarer drops, such as a training manual XL, an ancient civilization core, a multi-climate undershirt, and a huge large egg. The huge large egg is the only way players can attain Bellanoir.
3Oil Rig
Addition: Late Game Content
Rustplayers will all be too familiar with running an oil rig. The oil rig provides a high-risk, high-reward area for players to put their powerful pals and weapons to the test. Visible from theshore of Marshal Islands, the oil rig is a fair distance away and requires an aquatic or flying mount to reach.
Players will fight a powerful fire-type dragon pal alongside dozens of syndicate enemies with their pals, so stock up on ammo. The biggest reward from the oil rig is the large treasure chests. The chests contain the best loot but will also be the most heavily guarded areas in the oil rig.
4New Area
Addition: Place To Explore
Palworldis all about collecting pals and exploring new areas. Sakurajima is a newly added island full of new pals to capture and a protected tower to control from a new faction. The island is covered with cherry blossom trees, and mushroom swamps and is a beautiful area to explore.
The new island is home tomany new pals. Capturing them all will take time as they can only be caught under special conditions. There are no restrictions on reaching Sakurajima island other than having a good flying or aquatic mount, as it is located northwest of the map.
5Arena

PVE content is enough for most players, but others crave more conflict.Arenas added PVPto the game,and it is a must-try for anyone who has enjoyed their time duringPalworld’slaunch period.
In the arena, players face off against one another alongside three of their chosen pals. The three pals are simultaneously deployed alongside the player to face off against a rival player. Sadly, arena matches are only limited to players within the multiplayer session and have no matchmaking to face random players against each other.
6Balancing
Addition: Fairer Gameplay
Balancing a game on launch is an impossible task, but game devs can tweak the game over time tomake the gameplay fairer. Palworld can be difficult to play, especially for people who want to focus on enjoying the game, over grinding for hours to achieve the strongest team. Other balances for bases include making large generators more effective.
In an update, summoned pals received a 25% reduction in incoming damage. The oil rig was tweaked to be less punishing. Tomato and lettuce farms were made more efficient. The biggest change that players will notice is that their pals will be able to withstand more damage, which is most notable during boss fights.
7Quality Of Life
Addition: More Enjoyable Experience
While initially rough around the edges,Palworldwas still enjoyable to play. Numerous bugs have been fixed, giving the game a far more polished feel than its early launch state. Aside from gameplay fixes, base bug fixes andquality-of-life changeshave substantially improved game, server, and base performance.
Changes such as improved pal pathing at player bases are one reason for better base performance alongside fewer pals getting stuck. Other changes that make the game more convenient are allowing players to obtain fluids from specific pals on a farm, compared to having to grind and kill countless innocent pals for the drop.
