Rainbow Six Siegedistinguishes itself fromother military shooter gamesprimarily because of its focus on teamwork. The unique synergy between operators like Thermite and Thatcher, or Mira and Bandit, sets it apart from other titles. However, there are moments when relying solely on yourself, rather than on teammates, becomes necessary.

In many situations withinRainbow Six Siege, you might find yourself torn between roaming around the map to delay the attack or staying on-site to fortify it with more manpower. Fortunately, with the newly releasedOperation Twin Shells, you can now effectively do both.

New Defender Skopos

Skopos, whose real name is Kure Galanos, is a 42-year-old defense operator from Cyprus. She is atwo-speed, two-health operatorwho excels in both intelligence-gathering and support roles. Skopos is a unique addition toRainbow Six Siege, as she enables players to control two separate bodies, though not simultaneously.

Skopos Weapon Loadout

Skopos may have limited options in her loadout, but her available equipment is more thancapable of getting the job done.

Primary Weapon

Her primary weapon is thePCX-33 Assault Rifle, a new and exclusive addition to her arsenal. This rifle stands out for its very low recoil, high damage output, and decent magazine size, making itideal for long-range engagements. The only downside is its average rate of fire, but it’s still quite effective overall. She is one of the few defending operators with an Assault Rifle as a primary weapon.

Secondary Weapon

For her secondary weapon, she is equipped only with aP229 Handgun, which offers decent damage output and manageable recoil. However, you’ll typically switch to your secondary only when your primary runs out of ammo. Remember, switching to your pistol is faster than reloading.

Secondary Gadget

For her secondary gadget, she can choose between two Impact Grenades or two Proximity Alarms. It’s generally recommended toopt for the Impact Grenades, as they can be used to create rotation holes on-site or to aid in evasion while roaming. Her primary ability is described in detail below.

Skopos Primary Ability Explained

Skopos herself won’t appear directly inRainbow Six Siegematches, but she can deploytwo V10 Pantheon Shells, which are human-controlled robots. Her unique ability grants her control over these two robots, though she can only operate one at a time. She has the option to switch between the robots oruse one as a stationary camera for surveillance.

When playing as Skopos, there will be two robots on the field. The active robot is controlled by the player, while the non-active one remains in acrouched position with a shield in front of itfor protection. you may transfer control to the non-active robot at any time, causing the previously active one to become non-active, adopting the shield stance.

The shield of the non-active robot can be destroyed by explosives, while both the active and non-active robots can be taken down by gunfire. If attackers destroy the non-active robot, Skopos will remain alive and continue the round. However, if the active robot is destroyed, Skopos is eliminated like any other operator.

Each robot has its own health pool, allowing you to switch between them when one is low on health. you’re able to swap as many times as needed, with no limit or cooldown. The robots also have separate ammo pools for their weapons, though secondary gadgets like Impact Grenades and Proximity Alarms are shared between both robots — switching to the other robot won’t replenish these gadgets.

How To Use Skopos’ V10 Pantheon Shells

Skopos' two V10 Pantheon Shells offer unparalleled map control compared to any other operator. It’s recommended to position one of your robots safely on-site while using the other to roam the map, delaying attackers for as long as possible. When you find yourself being chased or in a situation where escape is impossible, it’s the perfect time to switch back to your onsite robot.

This strategy forces attackers to waste time searching for your roaming robot, as they can’t afford to ignore it. If they do, you can attack them from behind while they focus on breaching the site.

Alternatively, if you prefer to stay on-site, you can hide your second robot in adistant corner of the map. This allows you to surprise attackers by flanking them once they begin pushing the site. The key to playing Skopos is maintaining unpredictability and flexibility.

Things To Remember When Playing Skopos

Since Skopos is controlling a robot, her robots areimmune to Smoke’s Gas Canisters, allowing you to push through gas clouds and catch attackers off guard. However, Skopos' robotscannot be healed by Doc or Thunderbird. This isn’t a major issue, though, as you have two robots with separate health pools anyway.

Attackers have several counters to Skopos' robots. Key counters include:

These counters force Skopos players to adapt and be mindful of when to swap between robots.
