How To Start The Mask Of Darkness DLC
Meet The Prerequisites & Speak To Neith At The Haven
Having acquired both the Rush of the Simurgh and the Shadow of the Simurgh, you canhead to the Haven in the Lower City and speak to Neith. After a brief conversation with Neith, you’ll be tasked with the ‘A Snake in the Grass’ side quest.
Accepting the quest marks Neith’s location on your map, which can be reached by heading a short distance west from the Haven. Interacting with Neith at this location will take you to a new realm,where the Mask of Darkness DLC actually begins.
Starting the Mark of Darkness DLC strips Sargon of his amulets, health upgrades, and all time powers — except for the Rush of the Simurgh and the Shadow of the Simurgh. You’ll begin with just three health bars and will need to discover new health upgrades and time powers unique to the DLC.
Starting the Mask of Darkness DLC doesn’t necessarily lock you out of the main game; you will occasionally finddistinct purple portals near Soma trees that teleport you back to Mount Qaf.
