Will There Be a Ranked Mode for Battling in Pokemon TCG Pocket?

The development team said during a media Q&A session that Ranked will be coming to the game, but it will not be available at launch.

How Many Languages Will Pokemon TCG Pocket Support at Launch?

There will be nine languages: English, German, Italian, European Spanish, French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean.

Is Pokemon TCG Pocket Free?

Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocketwill be free to download for everyone, but there are in-game purchases if you want to do things like unlock more cards at a faster rate.

How Many Packs Can You Open Each Day?

If you’re trying not to spend a dollar onPokemon TCG Pocket,you may open two packs daily for free. You will get access to a new pack every 12 hours. You can also choose to open one pack at a time or do it in multiples of ten.

What Happens If I Collect Multiples?

If you have multiple of the same Pokemon card, you can use them to give your card a visual flair. There’s different stuff to add to your Pokemon to make them shine, like sparkles or images of their type plastered over the card.

There are five cards in each Booster Pack.

How Many Cards Will There Be at Launch?

With the launch ofPokemon Trading Card Game Pocket, one major expansion will be available:Genetic Apex(A1). These feature three different types of Booster Packs that include Pikachu, Mewtwo, and Charizard as the cover Pokemon. The entire expansion will have over 200 cards to collect. And as time goes on, more expansions will be released.

With the battle rules being different and more mobile-optimized, some cards have been changed. For example, some Pokemon cards will have one attack instead of two or three.

How Do Energy Cards Work in Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket?

Probably one of the biggest changes from the physical trading card game, Pocket will make it so players do not have to have a single energy card in their decks. Instead, one Energy can be distributed to the Pokemon you choose each turn.

What’s Wonder Pick?

Essentially, Wonder Pick lets you see a list of otherTCG Pocketplayers who have recently opened card packs. You can scroll through and see the cards they managed to get. You can then randomly get a card from the booster pack you select. You won’t be able to use this feature whenever you want. It’ll require using a combination of currencies: Wonder Stamina, the Wonder Hourglass, and the Rewind Watch.

Will There Be Mega Evolutions in Pokemon TCG Pocket?

When asked about the possibility ofMega Evolutions, the dev team did not outright say it’s coming to the game soon, but it seems very likely it’ll happen eventually.

How Big Are the Decks in Pokemon TCG Pocket?

The decks inPockethave been significantly cut compared to the physical version. There are 20 cards in a deck, and three Pokemon can be placed on the bench.

Is There an Easy Way to Make Decks in Pokemon TCG Pocket?

Not only is there an easy-to-use auto-deck builder inPocket, but you’re able to also get help from the computer during a battle if you don’t know what to do. And on top of that, there are some rental decks you can try out if you’re feeling adventurous. The auto-build functionality lets you choose an elemental type, like Fire, and if you have enough of those cards, the game will craft a deck for you instantly that featuresFire-type Pokemon.

How Do You Win Battles in Pokemon TCG Pocket?

Prize cards do not exist inPokemon TCG Pocket;instead, to win a battle, you simply need to earn three points by knocking out your opponent’s Pokemon. Regular defeated cards will get you one point, butbeating an EX Pokemonwill get you two points.

How Much Will It Cost to Open More Packs?

So, there’s a currency calledPoke GoldinPokemon TCG Pocketthat allows you to reduce the wait time for opening packs. You need one Gold to reduce the time by two hours, and you can go into the in-game store to buy them (prices start at $1 for 5 Poke Gold). It’s worth noting that you must open your daily packs, or else you won’t gain any more –the free 12-hour packs do not stack.

Is There a Season Pass for Pokemon TCG Pocket?

There is indeed a paid Premium Pass forPocketthat nets players bonus rewards for $9.99 a month. What do you get with this purchase, you might ask? So, you’ll get to open a third pack each day and you may complete special missions to unlock Pokemon cards with unique artwork, as well as coins, sleeves, and playmats. Also, first-time players can get the first two weeks of the Premium Pass for free.
