According to Serebii.net, the Seven-star Tera Raid battle against Serperior the Unrivaled will start on Thursday, September 19, at 8:00 PM Eastern and end on Sunday, September 22, at 7:59 PM Eastern. Trainers who miss out on facing the Regal Pokemon will get another chance the following weekend, from September 26 to 29. Serperior the Unrivaled will have the Grass type as its Tera type, meaning it will not change types from its standard version. Serperior the Unrivaled will grant the Mightiest Mark toPokemontrainers who can defeat it.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Reveal Serperior Seven-Star Tera Raid (September 2024)
Similarly to previous raid bosses inPokemon Scarlet and Violet,Serperior the Unrivaled will likely use its Hidden Abilityin the Seven-Star Raid. In this case, the Contrary ability allows Serperior to benefit from stat changes that would normally be detrimental. For example, while Leaf Storm would normally lower the user’s special attack stat by two stages after use, the Contrary ability would instead boost it by two stages. Ergo, removing this Ability via moves like Skill Swap, or other Abilities like Neutralizing Gas, will be crucial against Serperior. Given that Serperior’s standard and Tera types are the same, the Regal Pokemon remains vulnerable to Fire, Flying, and Poison attacks.
Strong Pokemon such as Skeledirge, Galarian Weezing, or Hisuian Goodra could be useful against the upcoming Tera raid boss. It remains to be seen what strategiesPokemon Scarlet and Violetplayers will form against Serperior.
