APokemon Scarlet and Violetplayer encountered a Shiny Iron Valiant, but due to a game issue, has been completely blocked from actually trying to catch it. FellowPokemon Scarlet and Violetplayers have tried to offer support, but the situation looks largely hopeless for the unfortunate gamer.
While the game’s announcement as an open world title had a lot of players excited, at launch,Pokemon Scarlet and Violetwas a mess. Glitches, bugs, and performance issues plagued the title and required patches to get the game to a satisfactory state. However, it seems the games still have some significant issues left, as one unlucky player found out.
Reddit user panikayy took to the site to share their plight and ask for advice afterfinding an Iron Valiant. The player shared a short video where they can clearly see a Shiny Iron Valiant that appears to be trapped between a rock and a literal hard place. Panikayy managed to wedge their player character into the space in order to try and catch it, but none of their attempts have been successful. While the player is able to lock on to the Pokemon briefly, their attempt to throw a ball sails straight through it, and they can’t walk into it to engage in a normal wild Pokemon encounter. The most unfortunate thing about this is that the player is currently competing with a friend to get a Shiny Rare Mark Iron Valiant first, but they can’t seem to catch this Pokemon.
Fellow Fans Try to Help Pokemon Player
Several fans have tried to give advice to panikayy, but unfortunately, none of it seems to have paid off. One fan suggested that they reload the game, but panikayy says that it respawns both them and the Pokemon in the exact same places. Another suggested that they move away and try to whistle in an attempt to trigger theIron Valiant, but they said this failed, as the Pokemon has no reaction to it. Hopping on Miraidon in the cramped space also isn’t possible.
Finding a Shiny Pokemon and failing to catch it for any reason is unfortunate, but this encounter must be extremely frustrating for the fan. Sadly, it seems as though their only option is to give up on the Shiny Iron Valiant and hope that another one pops for them elsewhere. It’s a shame that Pokemon are still able to spawn in totally inaccessible areas like this even after the extensive patches that the game received. With any luck,Pokemon Legends: Z-Aisn’t plagued by similar problems.
