Summary
Pokemon GOplayers have become quite frustrated with Niantic over how the new Beldum Max Raids have turned out.Pokemon GOis still quite the popular titan of AR mobile gaming, even eight years after it was first released. Raids have been an important feature to catch powerful creatures, and the new Max Raids provide Pokemon that can utilize the new Dynamax feature.
Since the feature’s launch on September 10, several types ofPokemon can now Dynamax inPokemon GO. It also marked the debut of more creatures from the Galar region, allowing popular Sword and Shield Pokemon to be caught like Grookey, Sobble, and Scorbunny. Players gather Max Particles via Power Spots, which also allow them to battle Dynamaxed Pokemon.
Players have been expressing concerns over the number of technical issues when trying to engage in Max Raids, with crashes, helpers not being effective, and dodging being unreliable. Participation in the new Max Raid Battles is available in-person only, with no option to play remotely. This makes finding players to join the tough Beldum raids difficult, and if the raid crashes, players lose all the Max Particles they spent. This especially hurts when trainers can only earn so manyMax Particles for free each day inPokemon GO, with 800 being the limit. The Beldum Max Raid battle costs 400 MP to enter, which means that fans can only attempt the raid on Beldum twice for free a day.
Players Are Frustrated With Niantic Over Max Raids
The introduction of Dynamax inPokemon GOhas generated a lot of excitement among fans of the AR game. However, the numerous issues Max Raids have at the moment are making players incredibly upset. The currentMax Out event features several types of Pokemon, with Beldum being the latest addition.
Frustrated players have mentioned that they feel Niantic is compelling them to playtest content due to the numerous recent issues withthe game. Things like the newly introducedDreepy being especially hard to find inPokemon GOhave been one of the many recent gripes fans have had. People have felt that Skwovet and Wooloo have been ridiculously more common compared to the other new Galar Pokemon that are available. To make things worse for fans trying to catch Pokemon in Max Raids, players can only hold a maximum of 1,000 Max Particles. However, an $8 bundle has been released to assist with this restriction.
