Pokemon GO Player Has Rare and Unlucky Encounter With Galarian Birds
Reddit user Terrible_Balance_916 found all three Galarian birds on the same day but didn’t get a single one. Impressed, thePokemon GOplayer says they found Galarian Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres with CP of 2604, 1155, and 2359, respectively, when they went for a walk andused the Daily Adventure Incense. Despite having tried, they recount that the trio of legendary birds rolled twice on the Poke Ball before breaking free. In the comments, other Redditors were shocked by the player’s situation, who, despite this unlucky encounter, said they had already caught Galarian Articuno with their first Master Ball.
Galarian Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres stand out for being one of the rarest appearances in Niantic’s game, and for having an extremely high chance of escape. As such, the most common way to secure one of the Legendaries is tousePokemon GO’s Master Ball. Introduced last year, trainers obtained the most powerful Poke Ball for the first time, with it returning to the game on two other occasions. The reason it’s the most common use of the Master Ball is because it gets any critter by ignoring its catch rate.
Since their debut in the augmented reality game, Galarian birds have continued to star in the most unusual stories. OnePokemon GOplayer caught Galarian Zapdosbut was astonished to discover that it was a nundo, meaning the monster has all IVs at zero. Another trainer found Galarian Articuno at the worst possible moment, as they hadn’t yet gotten their Master Ball. A third trainer spent the powerful Poke Ball on a Galarian Moltres, only to discover that it was a Zorua in disguise.
