Although lilsikki32 lamented not getting a chance to play the game, several replies to their Reddit post stated that they dodged a bullet by not taking the ad up on its offer. The comments range from the hope that the game will potentially come back in a rebranding attempt to many others criticizing Sony for not promoting the game well enough to be successful. Reddit user AcidPorkBuns claimed that they only saw the hero shooter promoted on the PlayStation store for “a day or two.” Despite criticism of the title, there are still many who want to seeConcordreturn.A petition to re-releaseConcordrecently made the rounds on the internet, collecting around 2,000 signatures.
Concordlaunched on August 23 and was taken offline on September 6.
As of now, Firewalk Studios and Sony have yet to announce any future plans forConcord. Many are holding out hope for the game to re-launch as a free-to-play title, but it may be difficult for it to rise from the ashes following such a controversial launch.
