Like some other games, these characters are mostly invisible, but there’s a distortion effect of the world around them that’s visible to their opponents. This strange effect allows players with a keen eye to observe their movements and fight back. Sombra’s Stealth ability isn’t the onlyproblemOverwatch 2players have with the character, as her SMG is also able to shred through health points rapidly. Beyond that, the damage hero can hack enemies to remove most of their abilities from their toolkit to defend themselves. Still, because she can hack opponents while she’s invisible, the Stealth ability may be the central problem with the character.
AsBlizzard continues to updateOverwatch 2, Sombra may see a change to her Stealth or other abilities to make her less dominant. Despite Sombra being the current problematic hero, changes can cause balancing problems, making different characters too powerful in exchange.
