The Elbaf arc ofOne Pieceis officially underway, and fans cannot wait to see what Oda does with the Strawhat Pirates this time around, and what journey they take on. It is clear for the fans to see that a major adventure is on the horizon forLuffy and the Straw Hat Pirates. This is simply down to the fact that Egghead, despite its incredible moments, was not a massive arc with major fights to deliver. Of course, Egghead altered the course of history forever in theOne Pieceworld. It cannot be understated how important this Arc was.
But, at the same time, fans know that Egghead was not an Arc like Wano, Arabasta, Dressrosa, or even Whole Cake Island. These are major arcs that fans have seen conclude with massive battles, and that is something that fans expect from Elbaf. Now that the Elbaf Arc is officially underway, the Straw Hat Pirates are looking to explore new territory, and usually, this part of the story is the most fun part of any arc.
How The Straw Hat Pirates Split Before Elbaf
Before the Elbaf Arc even began, the Straw Hat Pirates split apart on the seas. This might be strange for many fans to see, especially those who recently caught up to One Piece and are not used to Oda’s writing habits. However, for those who have been reading One Piece for years upon years, this is nothing special. Oda always separates the Straw Hat Pirates and he does this because it is easier to control individual actions of different characters in this way. It also helps Oda give more focus to every member of the Straw Hat Pirates that he wants to focus on, and prevent the hassle of showing the entire crew in every chapter.

Of course, fans would love to have the entire crew in a chapter of One Piece, but, sadly, the crew has grown so large that it is almost impossible for Oda to incorporate every single member in a chapter and have them do meaningful things at the same time. That is precisely why splitting the Straw Hat Pirates up is a solution and why Oda employs it often. One Piece fans know for a fact that the Straw Hats Pirates absolutely had to split up here, just as they did in the Wano Country Arc, and even before that, in the Whole Cake Island arc, and even preceding that, in the Dressrosa Arc as well.
Splitting up the Strawhat Pirates was inevitable here as well, and fans know that on the way to Elbaf, the crew officially split into two parts. One part of the Straw Hat Pirates consists of characters that are, presumably, going to receive a bigger role than this arc. This group includes Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Nami, and Usopp who will shine in Elbaf in one way or another. On the other hand, there is the second half of the Straw Hats, which will also be important in Elbaf but likely not going to receive as much shine. These characters include Chopper, Robin, Frankie, Brooke, and of course, Jinbe. Along with them are Lilith, Jewelry Bonney, and Bartholomew Kuma as well. These are the characters that Oda will likely focus on in the upcoming chapters of One Piece, as they are currently on the lookout for the first group.
As for what exactly happened, fans knowthat the Straw Hat Piratespartied with the Giants. Essentially, the alcohol that the Giants carried with them were so strong that it caused many members of the Strawhat Pirates to pass out completely and some to even hallucinate, presumably. When the Straw Hat Pirates woke up, they were already in Elbaf, that is, at least half of them. Luffy’s group found themselves in a Lego castle in Elbaf and it is unknown how exactly they made their way to the country.

Luffy And The Crew Take Action Against Powerful Enemies
In One Piece chapter 1127, it was clear for the fans to see that the Straw Hat Pirates had essentially reached the land of Elbaf already. Luffy’s group woke up in a Lego castle in the previous chapter of the story. Nami was the one that Oda chose to focus on in that particular chapter, and clearly, after waking up from a daze, Nami started questioning where she was and what exactly happened. She was seen in an Elbaf outfit, and it was clear for the fans to see that now,the Elbaf Arc was officially underway. InOne Piecechapter 1127, it was clear for the fans to see that Nami and Usopp were both bamboozled by where they were. The giant Lego castle was seen clearly, and this was a clear implication of the fact that they were in the care of some Giant.
As to how they got there, fans do not know at this point in time. What fans do now is that they are officially in the land of Elbaf, which means things are going to get even more exciting from here onwards. Fans also got to see an incredibly massive cat right outside the toy house. This massive cat started attacking Usopp as if he were a little bug. Of course,the Strawhat Pirates would have found themselves in a great deal of trouble, had it not been for the Monster Trio. Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji rushed to the rescue of their other crewmates, and in the glorious panel, fans got to see them attack the giant cat, which had now turned into a lion at the same time.
This was a major highlight of the chapter, given that the Monster Trio hasn’t had many moments in the post timeskip ofOne Piecetogether. This time, Oda chose to focus on them and highlighted how Luffy, and his two wings cooperate together on the battlefield and make just about everything a tad easier.
What Is Next For Robin’s Group?
Robin’s Group Is Likely To Follow Luffy To Elbaf Soon
As for Robin’s group, it was clearly stated in the previous chapter that they do not want to head to Elbaf without Luffy. However, Luffy and his group arealready in the land of Elbaf, which means Robin and the other Giants will inevitably have to go looking for them on Elbaf. Of course, they can’t simply give up on Luffy.

This essentially implies that they will find a trail of the other half of the Strawhat Pirates and follow itto the land of Elbaf. Perhaps, they will realize that a particular giant, possibly even Loki, was the one responsible for taking the Strawhats to Elbaf. The ones to realize this could be the Giant Warrior Pirates, who could then reveal information pertaining to this individual and his group to the fans, and then have the other half of the Straw Hat Pirates follow in pursuit of the main group.
