Summary
One Piecehasofficially begun its Elbaf Arc, much to the joy of all the readers. Fans have been waiting for the Elbaf for decades now. This arc was first set up in Little Garden, where Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates met with two Giants, Dory and Broggy, and were amazed by their incredible duel. It was then that the story revealed that these Giants were from the land of Elbaf, and that they wanted to fight each other to the death.
Usopp was amazed by the pride of these Elbaf Giants, and he vowed to visit Elbaf one day. Fans knew that Elbaf would eventually come into the story, and now, it is finally time for Oda to draw this magnificent piece of land and incorporate its culture into the world of One Piece properly. Elbaf started being set up in the story as soon as Egghead began, and fans knew that the next island would be the Warland where the Giants exist. Recently, the events of Egghead concluded, and the Straw Hats successfully managed to escape. In One Piece chapter 1126, the Elbaf officially began, as half of the Straw Hats found themselves in the land of the Giants. As to how they got there, fans do not have a proper answer right now, but that is exactly what is being discussed here.
The Banquet With The Giant Warrior Pirates
InOne Piecechapter 1126, a giant banquet was held on the two ships sailing towards the land of Elbaf. Fans know that the Giant Warrior Pirates came to get Luffy and take him all the way to Elbaf in the Egghead Arc. The Giants came sailing in their own ship, called the Great Eirik. This ship is absolutely massive, as expected of a vessel capable of carrying the massive Giants. As such, when the Straw Hat Pirates escaped from Egghead, they were split into two ships. One part of the Straw Hat Pirates was on the Sunny, while the other part was on the ship of the Giant Pirates. When the banquet happened, most of it took place in the shape of the Giants. They drank and ate together, and that is precisely when Sanji brought up the fact that the alcohol was particularly strong. It was then mentioned by the Giants that this alcohol is strong because it is special. It even makes some people hallucinate, while others simply pass out.

This was essentially Oda’s way of telling the fans that the Straw Hats would not be able to handle this alcohol properly and that it would have dire consequences. That is precisely what happened in the story, as Luffy and his group presumably passed out entirely. In One Piece chapter 1126, it was made clear that two days after sailing the seas, the Straw Hats were still not on Elbaf. At this point, the Sunny was completely missing. Fans had no idea where the Sunny was, and the Straw Hats had no clue either. It simply vanished in thin air, and the other half of the Strawhat Pirates, which was sailing with the Giant ship, were incredibly worried.
It was then made clear thatLuffy, Sanji, Zoro, Nami, and Usopp were all missingand had somehow found their way to a giant castle made of Lego. Essentially, that is where the previous chapter of the series concluded, and it showcased the Straw Hat Pirates having found their way to the land of the Warrior Giants.
Did The Straw Hats Get Captured By Someone?

Of course, ever since the end of chapter 1126, fans have been wondering as to what exactly happened to the Straw Hat Pirates. As was stated earlier as well, Oda has not provided an explanation about what exactly happenedto the Straw Hat Pirates, how they split up, and how one part of the group ended up on Elbaf before the other. At this point, all fans can do is theorize based on the small clues that Oda has left in the story. However, these clues might not be too difficult to analyze. Essentially, there can only be two possibilities at play here.
The first possibility is simple and suggests the Straw Hat Pirates got separated somehow and completely passed out. Following this event, the crew would mysteriously find itself on the shores of Elbaf. While this would be a plausible guess, it doesn’t explain why the Straw Hat Pirates would be wearing a different outfit, and why they would wake up in a Lego house. This is precisely why this possibility is not likely.

The second possibility then comes in, and essentially, the Straw Hat Pirates were taken by someone to the land of Elbaf. This makes more sense, and it would explain why they made it to Elbaf before the main group, which were actually led by the Giants. Making it to Elbaf before even the actual Giants suggests that there was some external help involved. As to who this person that helped the Strawhat Pirates reach Elbaf was, fans do not know. A popular guess could be Loki, the prince of the Elbaf Giants. Fans saw that the Straw Hats drank themselves into a daze while partying with the Giants. It is possible that the ship ofthe Straw Hat Pirates drifted awayfrom the Great Eirik. That could’ve been precisely where Loki and his group found the Straw Hat Pirates and dragged them to Elbaf. It is also possible that a completely different Giant found the ship and because the Straw Hat Pirates were so unique, decided to take them in and put them in their toy house. This person is now going to introduce themselves to Luffy and the group very soon, and fans absolutely cannot wait for it.

InOne Piecechapter 1127, fans will clearly get to seeLuffy and the Straw Hat Piratesin the land of Elbaf. Usopp and Nami, in particular, had a hard time dealing with the giant cat which transformed into a lion in the chapter. When they had trouble, it was Luffy and his wings who came to the rescue and attacked the lion in a combined attack. Taking down the lion, the Straw Hat Pirates eventually reunited at the end of the chapter. Now, all these five individuals are set to explore the land of the Giants, and things are only going to get more interesting from here onwards.
Fans should expect Luffyto explore the land of Elbaf. For now, fans simply have to be content with the fact that Elbaf has officially begun, and that this arc is going to get more exciting with each passing chapter.
