August kickstartedFortnite’s Chapter 5 Season 4, and Doctor Doom is front and center.Fortnitehas featured plenty of Marvel characters in the past, but this season revolves solely around the villain. Many Marvel characters have meta grim fate at the hands of Doctor Doomin Season 4, and it is unlikely that the chaos will stop there. From turning The Thing’s presumed corpse into a throne to having the Human Torch’s flaming heart heat up his castle, Doctor Doom’s strength is on full display inFortnite’s newest season.
There is also a fun nod to Doctor Doom possibly trying to summon Mephisto in the forge onFortnite’s map.The Doctor Doom skinwould have been an awesome addition to the battle royale on its own, but this showcase of the character is doing the villain some real justice.

This means that gamers who are itching for more Doctor Doom content can jump into the free-to-play hero shooter when it is released. The casting of Robert Downey Jr. may be one of the most divisive casting choices in recent years, but Doctor Doom being front and center is at least exciting.
There is no telling how well the live action adaptation of the villain will be handled, but Doctor Doom is having a really fun moment in the gaming industry. Even if the character fails to meet expectations in the MCU, Doctor Doom clearly has a home in gaming.
