While Griffiths seems very excited about the PS5 Pro, it’s fair to say that the overall reception of Sony’s mid-gen console remains divided. Several gamers have complained thatthe PS5 Pro is too expensivewhen compared to the base PS5, for example, especially when considering that it’s only an upgraded console, not a part of a whole new generation of gaming. The PS5 Pro will cost $700 in the US, and be even more expensive in other countries, costing as much as $919 in the UK.

On the other hand, thePS5 Pro 30th Anniversary Edition was immediately sold out, proving that there’s definitively some interest in the console. The model, which costs $999, is already being sold for as much as $10,000 on eBay due to how quickly it sold out.
