With the release of the Global Superstars Pack,WWE 2K24players will be able to add WWE Women’s ChampionNia Jax,Jade Cargill(one-half of the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions),Michelle McCool,Carlito,Kairi Sane,Lyra Valkyria, andDragon Leeto their available rosters. This marks the next-to-lastWWE 2K24DLC pack, with the next one being the WCW Pack in November.
Given the popularity of each of these WWE superstars, it’s bound to be a great release. In the case of Nia Jax, it also marks her seventh video game appearance, having previously appeared inWWE 2K17, WWE 2K18, WWE 2K19, WWE 2K20, WWE 2K22, andWWE 2K Battlegrounds. She debuted inWWE 2K17with an 81 Overall Rating, with her lowest point being a 79 rating inWWE 2K20and2K Battlegrounds, and her previous highest being an 84 inWWE 2K19.WWE 2K24approaches ratings differently than past games, but it still represents Nia Jax’s highest rating to this point with anOverall Rating of 86. However, Nia Jax believes it should still be higher—she tells Game Rant during a recent interview.
When asked what she thought abouther overall rating inWWE 2K24, Nia Jax was blunt and to the point: “That’s BS. I feel as though I should be high 90s. Duh.” Her rationale is that she won the Queen of the Ring tournament, became Women’s Champion at SummerSlam, and overall she’s been on a pretty great run since her return. She tied for the record of 8 eliminations in the Royal Rumble, main evented Elimination Chamber: Perth versus Rhea Ripley, won the aforementioned tournament, went on a winning spree, and defeated Bayley for her title. It’s worth highlighting that Nia does have a higher rating thanBayley inWWE 2K24, 86 to 85. Regardless, the Queen of the Ring is unhappy, and she wanted to make that clear to publisher 2K:
“I don’t know how this rating system works, but I am definitely going to have a conversation with 2K about this because it’s BS.”
Nia Jax also explained that it’s still “crazy” to her to think that she’s in a video game, even though this is her seventh. For her, the coolest aspect of that is that her niece and nephew are able to play as her, adding that “seeing them be proud of me makes it an honor to be a part of these video games because 2K always does me justice.” After a moment, she was quick to add, “Even though I should have a higher rating!”
Nia Jax’s Overall Ratings in Each WWE 2K Release
Overall, it’s great to see Nia Jax inWWE 2K24, and while she may not be happy with her rating, there’s always the next game.Take-Two confirmedWWE 2K25was in developmentas part of its financial report back in August, confirming it would release before the end of Q4 Fiscal 2025 (the end of March 2025). That’s, of course, no surprise, but it seems unlikely that the current Queen of the Ring and WWE Women’s Champion is going anywhere but up.
