The Legend of Zelda - The Complete Series DVD collection

Now, given the fact that the show originally aired before the 90’s, it is certainly a product of its time. Most collectors will relish the ability to add a fresh copy of theLegend of Zeldaanimated series to their collection without having to bid on it, but fans looking for extra lore or other insight might be disappointed.

The show is often criticized by modern audiences for Link being obsessed with Zelda and generally putting himself first every chance he gets, but other parts of the show offer plenty of enjoyment. There are definitely concepts being tested throughout the show, such as Link’s horse who looks suspiciously like Epona, or Sprite being very similar to Navi, which are interesting to see in action. Likewise, Zelda gets quite a bit of action throughout the series, battling alongside Link to keep Hyrule safe, all while wearing cool, functional, and stylish outfits that seem way more warrior princess than her standard garb.

All in all, even if the show isn’t canon and doesn’t have the best writing, it’s a piece of history that can be had for $14 with a nice cover.
