New Cast Members Announced
Shion Wakayama (Lycoris Recoil’sTakina Inoue) and Natsuki Hanae (Tokyo Ghoul’sKen Kaneki)are set to voice main charactersMomo Ayase and Ken Takakura. Other confirmed cast members include Nana Mizuki (Naruto’sHinata Hyuuga) as Seiko Ayase, Ayane Sakura (My Hero Academia’sOchako Uraraka) as Aira Shiratori, and Kaito Ishikawa (One Punch Man’sGenos) as Jin Enjoji.

Yukinobu Tatsu’sDandadanbegan serialization in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ magazinein April 2021. The series has amassed 15 tankobon volumes throughout its run so far. The series had 3.2 million copies in circulation, with more than 360 million views on Shonen Jump+ as of November 2023.

This is a story about Momo, a high school girl who comes from a family of spirit mediums, and her classmate Okarun, an occult fanatic. After Momo rescues Okarun from being bullied, they begin talking. However, an argument ensues between them since Momo believes in ghosts but denies aliens exist, and Okarun believes in aliens but denies ghosts exist.
To prove to each other what they believe in is real, Momo goes to an abandoned hospital where a UFO has been spotted and Okarun goes to a tunnel rumored to be haunted. To their surprise, they each encounter overwhelming paranormal activities that transcend comprehension. Amid these predicaments, Momo awakens her hidden power and Okarun gains the power of a curse to overcome these new dangers! Their fateful love begins as well!?

Science SARU will produce the anime adaptation. Established by Eunyoung Choi and director Masaaki Yuasa in 2013, the studio isresponsible for standout titlessuch asDevilman Crybaby,Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!, andScott Pilgrim Takes Off. Fuga Yamashiro (Super Shiro) will direct, with Hiroshi Seko (Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man) handling the script and Kensuke Ushio (Space Dandy, A Silent Voice) composing the soundtrack for the series.
