Now, 12 years after it first launched, the 2012 PC version ofAlan Wakeis getting a new update. The PC version ofAlan Wakewill begetting an update on September 10at 11am UTC across all storefronts. As explained by Remedy in a tweet, the newAlan Wakeupdate removes the song “Space Oddity” from the game “due to changes in licensing.” Instead of simply removing the song from the game, Remedy has replaced it with a new song by Petri Alanko called “Strange Moons.” Remedy noted that theAlan Wakeremasterwill not be impacted by the update. And in response to a fan asking if the Xbox 360 version of the game will be impacted, Remedy confirmed that wouldn’t be the case.
